About this deal

It's a bit better as it's drying down, but the overwhelming impression is the sweet peony and slightly annoying musk. This is sweeter than that but I settled with this after testing too many different of perfumes on my skin.

They say it has a lovely fragrance, a great smell, and is one of the best feminine perfumes out there. This is a scent with a fun opening and a sexy drydown, and I find myself reaching for it a few times a week. This fragrance smells exactly like you would predict it is, based on the bottle, the colour of the juice and name. It’s cute and I can see why YSL created it, because it’s a mass-appealer and I’m sure it’s making them a lot of money. The first day, I was immediately disappointed because it smelled like a Lip Smackers or Bonne Bell product from my middle school days, artificial berry scent. I bought a bottle off of Fragrance Net and it doesn’t seem to last as long, or maybe I’m going nose blind to it.

I don’t get citrus or the flowers either, maybe it is patchouli with vanilja that I get almost totally, but with something extra. Sharp, loud, synthetic mishmash of indistinguishable fruits and flowers unfortunately studded by a nauseating blast of patchouli - this is exactly how I also describe La Nuit Tresor. I think most people don't want to feel like they're too much or too little of anything, and instead would rather feel balanced in all facets of life.

The signature ingredient Datura Orchid is a legendary and bewitching flower known to take on more sensuality as the night develops. They both have strawberry, raspberry, mandarin orange, musk, and patchouli but this blend smells really good to me. This type of synthetic, syrupy orange blossom is a mainstay of many mass-market modern feminine scents. but they smell ridiculously similar, perhaps it's because they both have notes of strawberry, pear and vanilla and patchouli. I bought this last year because I absolutely LOVED how it smelled in the bottle and on the test paper.

I turned 50 this summer, and into autumn, this fragrance continues to subtly project with a classic elegance - and I've had compliments from friends, family and co-workers. I never got rid of it and managed to use quite a bit of my 30ml bottle and finally abandoned it fro a year or so. A fragrance on which freshness and floral sweetness are projected, soft and intense, luminous and cloudy, a magnetic perfume, sensual and at the same time, fun and cheerful. I love the lasting power, it can last 6 hours on me and still project, it's not too sweet and I often choose it in warm weather as well. The fruity bubblegum scent quickly fades to a softer scent on the drydown, eventually reminding me of a fresh beach towel at a meticulously-maintained outdoor pool in a private club (hints of fresh laundry, sunscreen, and chlorine).I will definitely be using this to layer my exotic Arabian perfumes that are too deep and heavy for daytime wear to sweeten them up more. After all the bad reviews, I would never have purchased this alone, but there was a mini bundled with other fragrances I wanted. Initially I get the sweet fruity notes that I liked and the patchouli was just enough to give it a little sour kick.
