Although I had a hard time getting into the mood because everything started off so matter-of-fact and there was NOTHING sexy to be found up-front, I found that in time I grew to appreciate the slow build to heat between these characters.I really liked the direction the story took in the second half how they fell in love and how they struggled to make something from it. It’s probably suppose to come off as clinical as Lori asks a lot of questions and Ander has to guide her through everything. There are several optional excursions for you to choose from including a day trip to Lake Louise and a whale-watching cruise. This book was extremely hot, but the story seemed forced at times, I found Lori a little annoying and Ander acted like a robot 80% of the book. They'll be with you along your journey, meaning you'll get to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities with them and forge new memories.

This is the first book by this Author Claire Kent wrote an amazing story about an Escort and a Virgin Writter . Ander accepts her proposition and soon they find themselves meeting pretty regularly for "lessons" that slowly cross that client-gigolo line. Not because she's desperate (honestly, tons of men would fuck her and wouldn't make her pay), but because - I personally believe - sex should be because two people want to do it.I wanted to experience the full knowledge of the plot and to try and catch all the subtle nuances I originally missed. It blew me away – I started reading at 10 pm, which was a huge mistake because I couldn’t stop until I finished the whole damned thing.

But Lori always passed him some cash money at the end of the day and they kept it polite and to the point. The story line could be deemed as quite cliche, but it was so well written it stood out amongst others that are similar. I also found it very interesting that Ander was completely bald due to a genetic condition; you don’t see that much. For me a book needs to have a solid story beside the sex and in the first half of this book there didn’t seem to be any story.I remember seeing the interview on Wonkomance and absolutely had to read it, and it was fantastic — I’ve re-read it twice now. We do eventually get to learn a lot more about Ander and his past and the reasons behind his career decisions and it is eventually a beautiful love story but I think I'd already decided that I didn't really like Ander by this point and could never fully re-engage with him.
