It was different than what I have been reading but the characters relationship development wasn't believable to me. The chemistry between them was intense and I could totally understand the appeal of his kind of distraction.

This series can be read as standalones however is more enjoyable if you start with Hunter and work through them all.So, when I saw she was releasing a new book, it wasn't even necessary for me to read the synopsis to know that I wanted to read it. Revenge had been her focus for 10 long years and she didn't need the distraction of his rippling muscles. I’m definitely recommending this book to anyone who wants to read a really good romantic suspense story. Personally I quite liked both Hunter and Steph and felt they fulfilled their respective roles within the story beautifully. This was my first read from this author and while I did enjoy this book,I didn't connect with the heroine at all,yeah I get how she had to be with what happened and her trust issues, but she got on my nerves a bit how she didn't want any help whatsoever.
