Fergus: Oh my lord, what a goal from Garnacho. That is the goal of the season, surely. We were the better team and even though Everton needed the win, we took the points very, very nicely. All the goals were outstanding finishes and our season has just begun. The timeline thereafter is unclear, how long will the three-person panel take over their deliberations? Will some of the points be reinstated? One thing is for certain, we will know the outcome before the end of the season.

George: From their performance today, I have every confidence that Everton will recover and that they will remain in the Premier League. And another position which is quite clear is that Everton are well and truly in a fight for top-flight survival once more. As the final whistle blew at Goodison Park on Sunday, it signified the end of an emotionally draining week for all Evertonians. Everybody associated with Everton feels injustice. The club and fans will continue to stand united in the face of adversity.
