About this deal

In 1991, The Diamond Brothers, a six-part television series written and directed by Horowitz himself, was broadcast on ITV. Both McLinden and Dale reprised their respective film roles, which makes the television series act as a sequel to Just Ask for Diamond. Although he's around the age of 13-14, and can think on the spot well, I'd have to go for the mastermind behind getting the box of Maltesers, the Fat Man.

The first in this series that my 8yo son keeps borrowing for me to read from his school library (he has already read them, and has recommended to me! Anthony Horowitz: The more adventures Alex Rider had, the more I found myself compelled to take this darker edge", The Guardian, 16 March 2015. The next day, Johnny Naples is found dead, Tim is somehow framed for the crime, his much smarter and younger brother Nick gets the box of Maltesers, and every crook in town is out to get them. The production was one of the hits of the fringe, playing to over 4,500 people with multiple sell-out houses in the prestigious Pleasance Forth venue and achieving great critical acclaim.

In The Diamond Brothers in… Public Enemy Number Two (1987), Nick Diamond is once again thrust into danger by being framed for a jewel heist he didn't commit, so that he'll be forced to go undercover as a jewel thief to find out the true identity of an unknown master criminal known only as "the Fence". Horowitz claimed he wrote the 1991 television miniseries credited as being based on this novel first, rather than the other way round, which would make this entry the only novelisation of a Diamond Brothers story in the entire series. A plain-clothes police man, disguised as a drunk in the street, arrests them, and they are sent to Ladbroke Grove Police Station, where Herbert's old boss, Chief Inspector Snape, accompanied by his violent assistant Boyle, arrives to question them.

The book,"The Falcon's Maltesers" written by Anthony Horowitz is about two boys, in fact, brothers, Tim and Nick Diamond receiving a box of maltesers, later finding themselves wanted by the nastiest and dangerous crooks in town. The genre is Action and the book is about how a guy that changed his name to Tim diamond and also opened his own agency but he is the worst detective of all time. With this knowledge, Naples quit his job in Bolivia soon after the Falcon's death, and caught a flight to England.Every so often an explanation was requested, as many of the puns and jokes are outside of a nine year olds experience! Don’t miss this acclaimed stage version of Anthony Horowitz’s hilarious novel introducing the Diamond Brothers Detective Agency. The Diamond Brothers is a series of humorous children's detective books by Anthony Horowitz, recounting the adventures of the world's worst private detective, Tim Diamond, and his much more intelligent younger brother, Nick Diamond.
