About this deal

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO are more neutral-sounding headphones than the Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X. The L/R drivers are very well-matched in phase, frequency, and amplitude response, creating an even and stable stereo image so you'll easily locate objects (instruments, voices, footsteps) within the stereo field. As is always the case with Beyerdyamic headphones, I feel like I must also mention that the pads are some of the comfiest out there--the velour they use one these pads is undoubtedly second to none. Given the relatively low rated sensitivity, I wondered if I’d be able to drive them with my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone. The PRO X is made for portable use with its 48Ω impedance, relative to the DT 770 PRO series’ 32Ω, 80Ω, and 250Ω varieties.

Thanks to the closed back construction and 'bass reflex' technology - which improves the overall bass response - these headphones deliver an even and flat sound with fantastic response across all frequencies. You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. Using proprietary bass-reflex technology, the DT770 Pro Headphones produce an extended, powerful low-end that allows you to hear the sub elements of your mix with complete clarity.

Low-bass is flat but audible down to an extremely low frequency, meaning it shines when listening to genres like EDM and hip-hop.

The DT 770 Pro comes with soft velour earpads, as well an adjustable padded headband for maximum comfort making them ideal for long sessions. They're essentially the same headphones but with an open-back design that naturally creates a more immersive soundstage performance. Combined with the sound isolation from the closed back design, you can get accurate sound wherever you listen. Just as a testament to how amazed and awesome these headphones are, I have received my brand new guitar in the same shipment as these headphones. The Philips SHP9500 are marginally better headphones for neutral sound than the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO.The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO are closed-back reference headphones well suited to professional and critical listening applications. We don’t do any stress tests and very few models are used for longer than a couple of days, so this is a fairly subjective score. The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 is a dynamic, closed-back headset with an 80-ohm impedance rating for tracking and monitoring applications, and it has been a firm fixture of studios across the world since it was released. On the other hand, the Beyerdynamic are closed-back headphones with fantastic bass accuracy, so your music has more thump and rumble, which some may prefer. Listening on headphones is a different experience from listening on loudspeakers, but the overall tonal balance is surprisingly close to that of a pair of top-flight monitors.

With all the talk about the Harman curve and how it’s improving headphone and earphone design, it’s easy to forget that a lot of headphone designers were getting things right a long time ago. Andertons Music Company acts as a credit broker and not a lender and only offers credit products from Secure Trust Bank PLC trading as V12 Retail Finance. If you’re looking for a cheaper set of cans, you could always look to grab one of the even-older Sony MDR-7506. The single-sided cable allows the headphones to be put on and taken off frequently without cables getting tangled. However, we do see the benefit of this in live sound applications where you really want to get all of the top end under control to avoid a feedback loop which can be a quick showstopper. It creates a pristine image of the music that makes a for a really good introduction to the nuanced kind of experience that Hi-Fi headphones can offer.
