If your soup is a little too chunky for your liking, just press the blend button until the texture of the soup is to your taste. I love the salute function on the soup maker, although it needs a few stirs while it’s cooking, I left mine to it and when it had finished it had burnt a bit on the bottom. Smooth takes the soup into a quick pureed state, while chunky is just that, although it takes a few minutes more for the soup to be ready.
