About this deal

There are still numerous vehicles on the market with air-conditioning systems originally designed for refrigerant R12. 2001 marked the official final end of R12 in vehicle air-conditioning systems. Ever since then, R12 systems had to be converted during maintenance or repair work. R134a was and is used as replacement refrigerant besides several "drop-in" refrigerants (refrigerant mixtures). R1234yf meets the EU MAC Directive requirement to use a refrigerant gas with a GWP of less than 150 in new vehicles. How is the EU MAC Directive relevant to R1234yf? Do not expose any components of the air-conditioning system to heat. After paintwork, do not heat vehicles above 75°C (drying furnace). If this cannot be avoided, drain the air-conditioning system beforehand.

Just like cars that run on petrol and diesel, both electric vehicles and hybrids will also require the air con system recharged when the refrigerant gas in the air con system needs replacing. Otherwise, the air con system in your vehicle will not operate effectively and will start to blow warm air. The EU Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) Directive of 2006 aimed to introduce measures that limited emissions of certain greenhouse gases from car air conditioning and reduce their impact on climate change. From 2011, it stated that all new vehicle types had to be built using a refrigerant gas with a Global Warming Potential below 150. ATS Euromaster offers air conditioning recharge services for the two key types of refrigerant used in modern vehicles (R134A and R1234yf). Generally vehicles registered before 1st January 2017 use R134A refrigerant and those registered after this date tend to use R1234yf refrigerant. About our AC Recharge Service All of our services are provided by our fully qualified, trained engineers specialising in air con recharge (regas), servicing, parts fitting, fault diagnosis, and repair of your car, van, and agricultural vehicles throughout the UK.Permanently seals refrigerant Gas leaks both in metal and rubber components of A/C and Refrigeration systems If in doubt, give our customer service line a call on 0330 135 9779, and one of our friendly team members When refilling refrigerant and performing any work on the refrigerant circuit, please observe the following:

With 250 centres that offer car air conditioningrefill or recharge services throughout the UK, you can be sure to find an ATS Euromaster AC recharge servicing centre near you. I've had a couple of older cars that have definitely needed this and the results have been good but it was anything but a "refresh", definitely more of a "fumigation" job

Klea® 456A is an ASHRAE A1 classified refrigerant (same as R-134a) that was tailored to be a drop-in replacement for R-134a in automotive air conditioning. It has the same efficiency and safety classification as R-134a plus no oil changes or other changes are required. Why choose Climalife for Car Air Conditioning refrigerant gas? In almost all hybrid and electric vehicles, the air conditioning system is also responsible for the Thermal Management of the battery to maintain maximum efficiency and prevent battery damage.A drop in gas pressure will result in a loss of cooling efficiency, which will make your engine work harder and, in turn, use more fuel. That's why our Aircon De-Mist service ensures that your air conditioning system is working efficiently by testing the gas pressure to see if it has dropped. The process works as follows: R134A Gas used at most Centres. R1234YF Gas available at selected centres. Additional charges may apply.

Even today, the conversion from R12 to R134a is still an ongoing topic in the area of classic and modern classic cars as well as in several non-EU countries. Never allow refrigerant to leak out into the atmosphere. If the refrigerant reservoir or air-conditioning system is opened, its contents will escape under high pressure. The extent of the pressure depends on the temperature. The higher the temperature, the higher the pressure. After more than 4 years of R&D efforts and thousand of tests, Errecom projected a 6ml dose leak stop that can work with all types of refrigerant gases included R32, R134a & R1234yf, EXTREME ULTRA 6ml new formula treats A/C and Refrigeration systems up to 21KW (6 tons). Is your Air Conditioning blowing warm air? It's likely that you need an Air Conditioning Regas, also known as a Recharge.EXTREME ULTRA locates the refrigerant gas leaks and permanently seals them, without reacting to moisture and oxygen. This solves one problem and creates a few new ones - and lots of money for many, now truly that is called progress in our disfunctional society?
