Free NHS sight tests

Free NHS sight tests are available for the following groups:

Details (proof required)

Those aged 60 or over (drivers licence, ID showing date of birth)
Those aged 40 and over with a brother, sister, parent, son or daughter who has glaucoma (as above)
Registered sight impaired (sight impaired certificate)
Those with diabetes (prescription card)
Those 'at risk of glaucoma' (letter required)
In need of complex lenses (your glasses perscription)
Those on income support, Jobseeker's allowance, Pension credit for you or partner,  named on HC2 or HC3 certificate
