About this deal

I found that because it was very very sharp even wide open and had great contrast that it was no problem for the focus peaking to be very clear on where the focus was at. I also like the fact that aperture ring is closer towards the camera body, same as my fuji lenses, so it is natural when swapping between lenses. Sony a3500 I can’t shoot exclusively in RAW format, but only in RAW + JPEG or JPEG, because most of the pictures I took were made in JPEG. If you don’t already own the Mitakon, and you’re on the lookout for one of these lenses it’s a no brainer. Name 7artisans and TTArtisan no other companies, ce fiction, but more precisely one parent company and different brands.

Combined with the slightly lower resolution, to my mind that amounts to a really nice gentle rendering. The reason 7Artisans/Risespray focusing ring is more smooth and better dampened is due to updated mechanics. In the Mark II version now with MC multi-coated glass and improved distortion correction for even higher imaging performance. is a odd lens, but to be fair to it I think some of this comes from the fact that it’s also a very small lens – especially for its specification. A point that one is bound to hear about is manual focus lenses aren’t suitable for action shots or even the ubiquitous street shots, I will simply beg to differ and in all honestly – say that this is purely a case of user ability and patience in learning how to use the system properly.Thank you for Nice review to explain things in such great detail in a way that is easy to understand. Anyway, in terms of build quality, aside from the lens cap, it’s nice, no rattling, and not a lot of play in anything. The focus has an approx 165-degree throw which I wish would be shorter, but this is a very personal thing. This stylish black portrait-length prime is designed for APS-C-format mirrorless cameras and offers a 52. Anyone who is looking for a really fast lens for mirrorless cropped cameras, I advise you to look at 7Artisans 50mm F/ 0.

You will catch some arcs if the sun is just out of frame especially when shooting at fast apertures. Rebuilding the Chinese model somewhere else would also be problematic due to socio-economic reasons. It does, however, give a very good impression of the different characteristics of the lenses ranging from sharpness, contrast and bokeh qualities wide open. It can be fun lens but that is it, do not expect anything from it more than to use it for Instagram, Facebook posts etc since it will disappoint you and you will regret taking it instead of some decent glass. Only differences: on the 7artisans the aperture ring has a different sculpt and turns to the right from 0.

Originally a site to share his works in photography, the site now features a variety of contents where he can share and tell stories. Honestly I’ve no idea, I just shoot it wide open 99% of the time for its character and generally I pay very little attention to the numbers anyway. My conclusion is that if something is not good enough for me than I simply cant recommend it to anyone who is reading this and looking for decent lens and IQ. The Sony a9 III is the world's first full-frame mirrorless camera to feature a global electronic shutter with simultaneous readout.

is poor at close distances, that is true but the fact is once you step back further from the subject, be prepared to see all the details coming in and this lens can produce excellent details too. And having to reference a Leica lens in regards to build quality makes it abundantly clear just how well built this 7artisans 35mm f0.Think of them as old Soviet lenses without the supply chain problems and with modern coatings, and they're winners. It’s a test where I just opened up all the lenses to their widest apertures, and shot something as boring as some berries on a typical grey danish fall-day. produces soft images wide open, but one would be foolish to expect more from a lens this small and this fast. They all seem to be really simple formulas - there is nothing ott about them, no 28 elements in 14 groups etc. I’ve been shooting with it a few months now and have been doing my best to make it fail and it hasn’t.
