I was totally impressed with Prepdeck – stripping the coatings back was a simple brush up the plank after about 15 minutes followed by rinsing it all off with the pressure washer. It's perfect to use before treating your deck, as it opens the pores of the wood to help new treatments soak in and stick, keeping your deck looking great for longer. Once Prepdeck is ready to be removed, you would need to scrub surface with a stiff nylon brush, flushing with copious amounts of water at the same time or by using a pressure washer at 725-1500 psi (50-103 bars) depending on the type of wood. Once decking is fully dry, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to prepare the deck and remove any mould or algae that may still be remaining in the grooves. Then use a scraper to remove as much stain as you can (not much will be removed) followed by a wire brush to remove the rest.

Where your measurement falls on the boundary of two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes for a comfortable fit. I had read some bad reviews on this product but after failing to remove decking paint with a jet wash I decided to give this a try. However, after a final power wash the end result is good and is ready for a new coat of oil or other treatment.
