About this deal

By the way, I have a book review meme on the 20th of every month, and I invite you to add this, if you would like. I absorb the help I can get from my neighbour who is a proud dahlia grower and tomato plant seed sower.

Monty Don invites you into Longmeadow, a place that has become synonymous with Gardener’s World, to show how he creates and tends his own garden, and how you can bring some of that same magic to our own. I live in Vancouver, WA and I CANNOT get away without watering (nearly) every night during the hot season. The Cottage garden spent the first 20 years of its existence as a dedicated vegetable garden, conveniently near the kitchen and supplying the family with all our fresh produce.

Monty, currently President of the Soil Association, the main body for organic regulation in Britain, has always been a passionate advocate of organic gardening and working with nature. Seasonably cold with temperatures somewhere between -10 and + 5 centigrade, is healthy for the garden and makes life easier for us gardeners. We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. In my opinion, it isn’t a book to turn to for quick reference or if you’re looking for lists of tasks to do but then it wasn’t designed with this in mind and most gardeners have those books already anyway.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).The two-acre space is divided into several different areas, including the Cottage Garden, the riot of colour that is the Jewel Garden, the Islamic-inspired Paradise Garden, and the Vegetable Garden. The Paradise Garden is based on ideas of Islamic gardens, and came about after Don made a TV series and a book about the gardens of the Islamic world in 2017.

Monty Don's articles are so well founded, his enthusiasm is contagious and his advice is invaluable.Perennials PERENNIALS constant friends A selection of novels, memoirs and more by some of our favourite authors. Following the cycle of the seasons, this book introduces readers to the garden from the earliest snowdrops of January through the first splashes of colour in the spring, the electric summer displays of the jewel garden, the autumn harvest in the orchard, and on to a Christmas feast sourced from the vegetable gardens. I would certainly recommend this book, Monty’s enthusiasm is infectious and you don’t need to watch Gardeners’ World to find this book useful and a good read.
