About this deal

If only the longevity didn't suck it would be 11/10, but in all seriousness this is a quality masterpeice that has backbone and any women in close proximity will love it.

All the La Nuit de L'Homme lovers like myself out there just want the original La Nuit de L'Homme that we fell in love with! It opens up with sweet fresh spicy and warm spices notes in the background then dry down is sweet creamy woody. But on further where's I've decided that this fragrance is actually really nice if you know what you should be looking for ahead of time. i cant exactly explain it as a note oriental definitely and dark too but sometimes you don't need to!

Unlike the original Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme EDT the prominent cardamon note has been removed, in its place is a luxurious blend of Pepper, Anise and Bergamot with middle notes of Red Berried fruits, Lavender and French labdanum. I guess this is a good fragrance to wear at the club because everyone is going to be surrounded by alcohol anyway. It's not my favorite scent anymore but it's still worth owning, it's a pity if the new batches of it are as weak as everyone seems to say it is. Yves Saint Laurent launched La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Parfum in 2019 as the new interpretation of the original that promises a darker and more sensual take on the popular fragrance, intended for an "enigmatic, seductive and bold" man. For La Nuit de L'Homme Parfum YSL wanted a richer, more elixir like fragrance that was rounded and soft.

I said ok, I'm a smoker and not a teenager, so I found younger female colleagues who don't smoke and ask 'how does it smell'. At first warm spicy smell overwhelmed me but then in the evening ( 1 hour later) it started raining and the fragrance started to shine it was really cozy but didn't get a lot compliments. Another very present note is lavender, which balances the aroma so as not to load it towards oriental chords. As an intermediate level fragrance collector, I own, have owned and smelled an obscene amount of fragrances and it is very rarely that I am caught off-guard by a fragrance, especially one of designer sensibilities. The Drydown of this instantly reminded me of something, I thought about it and that something is Dior Homme Intense.

It so you can wear it to any occasion at any time, however, this makes it loose it's uniqueness which of course isn't good. The only real criticism I have about it is that it doesn't last a really long time, only about 3 hours. But that's fine, as while you could definitely wear this during colder days, Wanted by Night lends itself perfectly to nights out, where its punchy fruits and dark sweetness attract positive attention and compliments.I can most of the dislikes come from single depressed men but when your SO comes in to hug you, she want to eat you when you wear LNDL. The olfactory pleasure continues into the dry down with a nice fresh vetiver accord that is not overly "rooty" or earthy. I tried on while working and I learned that this fragrance works best in working and stressful areas. La nuit edp is compared in the comments to CH Men Privé but to me, it’s more of a toned down sweeter Farenheit and imo, La nuit EDP is superior to both quite frankly. Performance on me is average with skin scent projection and 6~8hrs of longevity in room temperature.
