I went for a doctor's visit this week and the moment the doctor walked into the room, he said, 'you always smelt so good. So in few words it is aromatic-green-woody oriental, that able to move your heart and take you into a memory lane. Whether you're at work, at a party, or just going about your daily life, Femme will be your faithful companion, lifting your mood and leaving you with an unforgettable scent experience. Maybe that's useless information - OR maybe that's a very pertinent clue as to the value of this fragrance. It's feminine, but from a time period when feminine meant resinous, slightly green galbanum (the kind that makes your mouth water a bit when you smell it--just a bit bitter, and that's a good thing), spicy carnation, a hint of soapy, and a lot of personality.

It is green oriental, very aromatic and it is the closest smell to Christmas-time in my childhood associations, when all Christmas trees were straight from the forest and their aromas were filling everyone's house, mixed with wonderful baking aromas. I can't help it - I hate the bottle, I hate the era, I hate the very idea that this could be my perfume - but I simply LOVE the juice. Later I start to get the spicier woodier notes, and something very close to the skin also gives a sour pickle note, or at times even ketchupy. The musk is at the very last part of the performance of the fragrance and smells exactly like the musky colognes some guys are used to. but Moschino's fashion (starting I think in 1984) had an obvious referencing to the CHANEL suit, but satirised, playfull, ironic.They're like cousins, recognizably in the same style, and totally unlike anything released recently. Launched by the design house of Moschino in 1987, MOSCHINO is classified as a refined, oriental fragrance. If you like classics like Arpege, Rochas Femme, Diva, First and so on and so forth, you sure will be able to appreciate this one. Spices and amber are the most detectible, there is some vanilla, but it comes out lightly at the end of it's lasting.

I have to add a second review because I have to say that this stuff literally gags me in the Summer! There's a green galbanum note which I adore because it's a note that is no longer with us and always makes a fragrance smell incredible. No offense to old ladies, Gardenia lovers, spicy marinara eaters or folks who clean their floors with Spic and Span.There is also an element, an accord that reminds me of White Diamonds in the EDP or extrait form (not so much the EDT). For me, I'll just keep it around for when I'm missing my mother and I want some comfort of "her smell".
