About this deal

Below are some of Amanda’s pictures captured with her iPhone 13 Pro using RitchieCam and the 20% CineBloom filter, made possible by the Sandmarc case and filter adapter. The strongest CineBloom is 20%, so if you find it to be too strong, consider the 10% or 5% options instead—sometimes subtlety is preferable. Made for thread sizes ranging from 37-82mm, Moment CineBloom Diffusion Filters work with standard camera lens thread sizes, film lenses, and phones. These eight Recipes are the ones that I used, and I invite you to try them, too, the next time you go out for some night photography. With various densities, these filter softens hard edges, smooths skin tones, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

If you want to even more closely mimic the film, try it with a 10% or 20% CineBloom diffusion filter. It’s different though, because it’s not really a nostalgic experience that I’m trying to capture, but rather the way many of us see the world around us today. I have been shooting portraits for quite a while, and have been using the Cinebloom filter with 20% density for most of my portrait work.

However, if you don’t want to have such a soft-focus image, you should go with the 5% or the 10% filters, which will offer you lower diffusion. A diffusion filter gives halation with lights, creating a neutral “glow” around points of light, especially in low light scenarios.

The ring of the filter is precision machined from aerospace-grade metal and designed to be thin enough to stack underneath another filter without compromising the field of view. I programmed into my Fujifilm X-T5 eight different Film Simulation Recipes, and shot with all of them. I can’t find any source about the Moment Cinebloom on film cameras, so I decided to explain it here. I felt that this filter would be a key component to achieving a filmic look, and the Sandmarc case with the Step Up Ring Filter Mount plus the 40. I think it’s a stylistic approach that matches my vision, approach, and what I want out of photography. The filter’s ring is made from aerospace-grade metal, designed to be thin enough to stack underneath other filters without affecting the field of view. If you purchase it now, or any of our other tutorials, you can save a 15% by using " ARTICLE" at checkout. Available in densities of 10% and 20%, they not only catch and bloom light but soften hard edges and provide a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable. This isn’t actually a requirement to win, but it would be great if you would do this (hey, we’re giving away free stuff! It doesn’t matter if you are a photographer or a videographer, as having a diffusion filter can help you achieve a dreamy look in both fields.
