About this deal

A game of Kill Team lasts about half an hour to 40 minutes, making it easy to squeeze into a lunch break or get several games in across an evening. Unless an operative performs the Defuse Explosives action on that objective marker, it is destroyed at the end of the Turning Point (see Destroyed Objectives, below). Unique actions are actions detailed on an operative’s datacard that only they can perform, such as the Dakka Dash action found on the example datacard.

At this point we come to our first bit of content which is not exclusive to the Kill teams in this box. The Chalnath book, which we’ll talk about in detail shortly, does not include the basic rules for Kill Team. Judging by the new Novitiates datasheet released on Warhammer Community, someone may have realised this was getting a little out of hand – they have stuff they can take, sure, but the Kill Team Specialists here have a lot going on – there’s a trainee Dialogus, one with neural whips, one with an Eviscerator, a big old mace/censer, a condemnor boltgun, some duelling blades. This isn’t a get-you-by until a Codex can come along and replace the pamphlet, these are rules you’re expected to use for your team for the foreseeable; supplementing those are additional Killzone (terrain) rules and nine new Shadow Operations missions. Fast-moving forces have been dispatched to the site with launch codes to ensure this asset can be used to destroy our enemy before they can do the same to us.It also allows GW to utilise more box space stuffing it full of sprues, helpful for the big chunky Sector Imperialis pieces, of which you get two big ruins and a selection of smaller ruined walls to go with them. As well as being an excellent set of modular terrain, this box lets you recreate the mission layouts in the Kill Team: Chalnath book.

These are fully modular and can be combined with Sector Mechanicus, other Sector Imperialis kits or Zone Mortalis, however the missions in this book do want them to be built as per the included missions. They are full of character, and will look right at home with the rest of the range should you decide to add them to your 40K army. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. These look super fun, and each mission details exactly how your scenery from this box must be laid out. Whilst the Pathfinders aren’t a new kit, they are still brilliant sculpts and the upgrade sprue only adds to his awesome and high tech these guys can look.
