Charlie learns in 3 stages, at first he will only be able to emit sounds and sit, at the next stage he can crawl and play with the ball and finally at the final stage he will be able to stand up, sing and dance. This means that any child can have pretty full on conversations with Emma and it would never get too repetitive.
