About this deal

And then that damn Ripcord album came out, and, in his red carpet appearances, he started looking more and more ridiculous for a grown man. The intimate image on the Graffiti U album cover was taken by world-renowned photographer Mark Seliger. Is it record companies who is the ”bad guy”, forcing artists to do something they don’t really want to do?

At least Taylor Swift had the decency to abandon Nashville and the country scene when her music became true pop.Graffiti U is the tenth studio album by New Zealand-born, Australian country music singer Keith Urban. In its second week, the album fell to number 18 on the Billboard 200 and number three on the Top Country Albums chart, with 17,100 copies sold that week. Even his ballads, which I think he normally excels at…just aren’t sparse enough to be effective here. Records that aren't in picture sleeves will either be in a company sleeve or a generic plain sleeve.

remarks that have been made on Keith Urban’s lyrics; there are plenty of cheesy traditional country music lyrics to go around. On his latest, Urban never sounds less convincing than when he’s trying to create three-dimensional female characters, whether on the forced Coachella dream sequence “Drop Top” or “Gemini,” a maddeningly reductive character sketch that culminates with Urban singing: “She’s a maniac in the bed/But a brainiac in her head. Maybe if he’d made his name with said guitar skills instead of with his musical mystery meat that he mischaracterizes as country, he wouldn’t catch so much crap from so many of us. The word "graffiti" came to him while he was working the album, because the process was like graffiti for him.On 23 April, he performed the song at a Spotify "Fans First" event in Nashville, Tennessee along with " Parallel Line" and " Wasted Time", from his previous album Ripcord. Not all Africans are blacks, nor their ancestors, and they are not all Americans, talking about any of the 35 countries that do make the American continents as a whole, sole and unique America. Actually, I’m being unfair; ‘Parallel Line’, a polished and eminently sing-able pop song, co-written by Ed Sheeran, is easily the best of the three, and deserved greater success.

I’m surprised you review this album without “WARNING: HEAVY LANGUAGE” or ranting and completely going off on Keith Urban. His song “Horses” with Lindsay Ell (whose nearly half Urban’s age as well) would actually be a decent song, but with lyrics like, “So just let your horses run, to the limit like never before, let’s be lost and young…“ it’s clear Keith Urban is outright delusional about how the circle of life works.

angry young men cussing and denigrating women, (rap) city boys singing about tailgates and tractors (bro country) and for God’s sake the Kardashians are still on t. Perhaps predictably, the well-intentioned song was met with both praise and criticism in a country ecosystem that is struggling to support and sustain its female entertainers.
