I don't get a powdery scent but almost a warm vanilla mixed with some "desert" spices and flowers underneath, reminds me of a comforting incense. i've tried the oil version of hareem al sultan and it smells soo similar to rose gourmand from zara , and montale intense cafe ! I gifted the bottle to my mother and it definitely smells better on her, the fruity notes stand out more but the amber was still very strong.
