My grandson took it into school and proudly stood at the front describing pistons, crankshaft, valves etc. The best that can be said for it is that my 9 yr-old grandson learned to tighten screws gently to avoid breakages, but even his grandmother (who has a PhD in Physics) found assembly frustrating. The model is fun to put together and the kit contains all the tools you'll need and over 100 parts to assemble the working model. I suppose it is an excuse to re-do it all over Did mine my son's one yesterday and also forgot to lube the bearings. Is there no way to have the engine on and in motion for more than the 5 odd seconds it does something?
