About this deal

O álbum é extremamente icônico na cultura sad/indie, com letras que falam sobre amor, poder, drogas, decepções amorosas, vida líquida na contemporaneidade e a efusiva arte de bridar o caos que existe dentro de cada um de nós. Lucky Ones is definitely the song that should end the album, a gentle ballad that slips comfortably into the silence at the end of the CD. There seems little point in reviewing an album that has already been reviewed by so many people, but a few thoughts are perhaps worth writing down, given the whirl of misinformation and hype and hating that has gone on. From your date of purchase your product is warranted against faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months.I'd never really paid much attention to Lana Del Rey before the album release, having only heard a remix of Video Games that didn't do the original justice. The richness and depth of the album are amplified on vinyl, taking the listening experience to dizzying heights. I only had to listen to a snatch of one of Lana's songs, and I knew she was something special, something exciting from a musical realm that has been entirely stale for the past decade. The 2 LP set ensures the complete integrity of the album's production, enabling each song to be presented in its fullest richness and depth. There is still baked in crackle lasting for about 5 seconds of Video Games, otherwise, my copy is pretty immaculate: clean, flat, and centred, as one would hope.

She has described herself as a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and cites Britney Spears, Thomas Newman and Bruce Springsteen as her musical influences. National Anthem is a playful song that on the surface has some lines that might make you think it's a clumsy way of celebrating the money and fame worship you hear in some other singers' songs, but the OTT way it's done and some of the lyrics, once closely listened to, clearly show it's a send up. Warned by other reviews, I ran mine through my record cleaning machine before playing, and was pleasantly surprised. Now this copy did have a lot more popping, but i think its because it had paper on it fro the sleeve. I looked at what the internet was saying and the reviews seemed oddly mixed between those who said every track was great and those who seemed to have some sort of a grudge against her that no-one could properly define.

I would get this if you are a fan of hers (I mean probably every fan owns this by now, i mean we all know how her fans are). This album mesmerizes with its blend of nostalgic pop, dreamy trip-hop, and captivating cinematic undertones. The album artwork is a visual homage to the artist's vintage Hollywood aesthetic, seamlessly complementing the music's thematic essence. Originally recorded for a stand-alone EP 11 months after the 2012 release of Lana Del Rey’s second album, Polydor releases the eight tracks that made up The Paradise Edition of Born To Die on vinyl. The portraits she paints are old-fashioned portraits of young women and young women grown old, who have never heard of the word feminism, and blindly pledge their hearts to useless and violent and masculine men.Firstly the image: yes, she is striking to look at, but it is anything but an easy look, it's a confrontational look and a mysterious look; she doesn't smile, she looks like she could maybe kill you, given provocation. Del Rey's women are victims, yes, but it's the sincere tragedy of their situations which makes for such memorable music. Sound is overall good, lots of crackling sadly, especially on D side even though I brushed it more than once.

At this point you may think there is a theme of depression sinking into the songs, but this song is hard to describe because it somehow manages to be downbeat and uplifting at the same time. Born to Die' is an album I'll treasure, showcasing the unmatched talent of Lana Del Rey in the most exquisite form. Clearly this important album was recorded / mastered on a budget and this might be the best pressing we get. Million Dollar Man is an old time dirge ballad with an undercurrent of sadness, and is extremely classy. Lana Del Rey's direct influences were visual as well as musical; David Lynch, soundtracks for `50s black and white movies, the whirring sound of the Ferris at Coney Island, fame itself. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. The 'Born to Die' 2 LP Vinyl Album offers an intensified listening experience, amplifying the atmospheric mood and rich textures that define Del Rey's sound. She lived in a New Jersey trailer park and decked her homestead in flags, streamers and seasonally inappropriate Christmas lights. Born to Die' stands as a testament to Del Rey's artistic prowess, showcasing the depth of her evocative storytelling and her ability to transport listeners to a world laced with cinematic mystique. Million Dollar Man is a perfect indictment of a certain kind of flashy man who women will fall for, only to be mistreated.
