About this deal

One caveat though is I do think this book is aimed at a younger audience as character motivations don’t get too deep and the end leans into near fan fiction at times, but i recommend it all the same. He happens to come across an abandoned Spider-Man Costume and puts it on, thinking he could be like the Web-Slinger, but it would be fate that would make the fanboy face the most difficult question he has evaded, do I have the power to change my destiny? From this, she correctly deduces that Yu is the Spider-Man who rescued her, and incorrectly deduces that Spider-Man has always been Yu.

Despite the risks to himself, Yu is driven to continually masquerading as the real Spider-Man because he feels it's what Spidey would do in his shoes. Spider-Man's character is written well and you grow to care about Yu and his supporting characters as well. All in all, this is a MUCH better Spider-Man story then the current Amazing Spider-Man run, even though this doesn't even feature the real Spider-Man much. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, though given some of the thematic message of ItSV, I'd say that there's some argument there for the heartfelt idea of "anyone could put on the mask and be Spider-Man, even you" applying to the nature of this release.I later found out this has been out in Japan for a while but was only recently adapted for release here, so it's probably safe to assume VIZ timed this release close to that of the movie so the manga could ride AtSV's coattails a little. Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Yu's adventures as Spider-Man demonstrates in spades just how hard it is for a normal person to try being Spider-Man. Yu is an awkward loner who has self-doubt and finds himself in over his head a lot, but tries his best to do the right thing and save lives despite the personal cost and disruption it causes in his own life. Without the Required Secondary Powers of super-durability that come naturally to heroes like Spidey, swinging and sliding around with webs hurts when you're slamming into or dragging along hard surfaces. Together they find a way to seperate the Venom from Peter and Yu passes the mask to Peter telling him he is his hero and the true spiderman.

This confidence naturally also spills over into his personal life and he sheds some of his social awkwardness, making a good friend for apparently the first time in his adolescence. I’m not a manga reader and it’s not my usual type of read, but I’m a Spider-Man girly and couldn’t resist giving it a go! The criminals try to speed up their car, and are in the process of hitting an old lady crossing the street. Fake Red« is a Spidey story asking »What if Spider-Man is not Spider-Man« and by doing so, creating one of — if not — the best Spidey story ever! An awkward teenager puts on Spider-Man’s suit, but quickly learns being a hero isn’t all photo ops and social media likes. It's interesting enough, I suppose, But I'm not sure if I really loved this as a whole, especially if it's starting a whole new kid's journey into the Spiderverse.

Spider-Man : Itsuwari no Aka (Also known as Spider-Man : Fake Red), is a Japanese manga created by Yūsuke Ōsawa in collaboration with Marvel Comics. But after donning the real Spider-Man's costume on a whim after mistaking it for discarded cosplay, he soon finds himself in over his head as he's wholly unprepared for what Spidey deals with on a regular basis. Unsure that the real spidy can help anyone without his suit, Yu makes a choice that’ll change him in more ways than one.The Parker Luck is a phrase that has been used a lot, meaning when Spider-Man succeeds at something, it usually doesn’t bode well for Peter’s Civilian life, this scenario is used in our protagonist’s current situation when it comes to meeting a girl he likes.
