About this deal

Then Tony realizes he doesn't really want Milly and that them doing anything would be a huge mistake. One of these brothers was REALLY REALLY dumb and it made me crazy but at the end he sorted everything out, thank god! I loved this book because it has everything: colourful and lovable characters, lots of intrigues, laughs, sorrows.

Lisa is a number one New York Times and Sunday Times author who has sold over ten million books worldwide and been published in over twenty-five languages. But, with the release of her new work "A Friend of the Family", she goes beyond her previous talent and moves into the higher talent ranking of Helen Fielding and Marian Keyes. It's only when a new person walks in and stirs things up that you really see how 3 grown men handle life, love and family. We get to know each family character, the good the bad the ugly and insight and the hidden agendas behind this family dynamics. Sean was once a spoiled little brother, who hits it big with his first book, and he has the perfect girlfriend. It is a great anytime read, but if anything a "great busy person read," because the chapters are short. Emotional familial relationships and enigmatic eccentric characters which show people are very much individuals but also part of the bigger picture that life throws us. Its unlike the other books of hers that I’ve read and is a go to author for me, as it’s listed as contemporary fiction and romance.

The common thread and main topic is love, under all its forms : parental, brotherly, friendship, romantic love, love of life. I highly recommend A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY, I would encourage everyone to put this at the top of their summer reading list. He makes love to Ness that night and professes his love, but in his head, it was just something he said not something he meant.Lisa Jewell's first novel, Ralph’s Party, was published in 1999 and was the best-selling debut novel of the year. Whilst we have a mysterious incomer to the family in the form of an unexpected lodger, the title of this one could mean any member of this family, are they actually looking out for one another or just playing it that way on the surface. Since then she has written another twenty novels, most recently a number of dark psychological thrillers, including The Girls, Then She Was Gone, The Family Upstairs and The Night She Disappeared. Bernie takes in a mysterious lodger, Gervase, who seems to be able to get to the heart of the boys' troubles and helps the men to see things more clearly about themselves, but can he help them sort out their love lives? To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
