Louise took the letter from me whilst at the same time dunking her plain digestive biscuit in her coffee and proceeding to eat the soggy biscuit at the same time. SO slow paced and boring, all of the characters are so unlikeable and the way this is written makes a decent plot in theory play out in the most frustrating way. I have found that the quality of sleep is never as good during the daytime as it is during the normal expected hours of night-time.

As a follower of this author I agreed to read a pre-publication copy in exchange for an honest review. I never really felt emotionally connected to these characters, and frankly, with the exception of Max, I didn't care for them much. The story explores the siblings’ reasons for wanting the money, looking into their relationships with each other and their father. da ich schon andere Bücher der Autorin gelesen und für toll befunden hatte, habe ich mich durch dieses hier durchgekämpft, in der Hoffnung, es wird noch interessant oder spannend.Then there were two young women who quite clearly had had too many drinks and were puking up all over themselves shortly followed by a man in his late teens who was suffering from drug abuse. I really enjoyed it, parts of the storyline will ring true to anyone who has struggled with siblings as they sort through their parents worldly goods and finances, as I recently have.
