Once you have purchased your first plastic dog bed the chances are good that you will be so happy with it you will never go back to your old dog bed. If you prefer, you can also purchase the liner-pad, which will then be supplied, fitted with the liner.

This unique soft fleece fitted liner is a fantastic way of making your plastic dog bed more comfortable and cosy for your dog. THE LINER: This is an absolutely storming way to revolutionise your old, tired plastic dog beds or to make one much warmer and kinder to dogs. These, made in many colourful prints, are oval shaped with soft padding and are available made of cotton or with one cotton side and one plush side.

Our Durasoft waterproof dog bed fabric is a 1000 Denier texturised Nylon, which is the STRONGEST fabric on the market (beware of cheap polyesters looking 'strong'). The optional padding in the base of the liner can be removed during washing so that the washing is more efficient and drying is quicker.

Hence, the suitable sizes will be Sofà 8 (internal dimensions given the padding: 56 x 35 cm) if you want a tighter bed or Sofà 10 ( 66 x 42 cm) if you prefer a more spacious one. If your beds measurements are not shown here, choose the one nearest to yours, we usually suggest you choose the next size up. Though most plastic dog beds will be less expensive than beds made from other materials, you shouldn't necessarily go for a really cheap plastic dog bed. You could even treat it to a comfortable cushion or mattress for inside the plastic dog bed, so it knows exactly where the perfect napping spot is!Whereas plush and fabric dog beds may be subject to mold and mildew if they get wet, plastic dog beds can be air-dried and will not be damaged by moisture. Left access to original bed if they wanted to really stretch out but since setting them up in new beds all evidence points to them fully embracing a more cosy (if separate) alternative.
