About this deal

It’s easy to forget now, but Game of Thrones was the first hour-long HBO drama to be captured entirely digitally.

We also learn of Jon Snow's fate after the devastating event at the conclusion of season 5, as well as his reconnection with Sansa, Jon and Ramsey Bolton and the Battle of the Bastards. The 4K Discs are neatly packaged with Dolby Vision and HDR10, along with new Dolby Atmos audio tracks on each episode. There is also a noticeable lack of diligence when it comes to fulfilling the promise of some of the show’s smaller supporting plotlines in favor simply bringing everything to a neat, tidy and bloody end. Available subtitles include English SDH, French, Spanish, Castilian Spanish, German, Italian (for the hearing impaired), Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, and Thai.R. Martin and tells a compelling a story of duplicity and treachery, nobility and honor, conquest and triumph in a game where you either win, or you die. I did shell out the money for the new complete UHD set but I have a question for those who have either the individual seasons on Blu-ray or the series box sets.

There have been many releases of Game Of Thrones since 2011, including the Blu-ray versions of each season, Collector's Sets, a

If you’re a fan of the show and 4K Disc home media collector, then you’ll remember that the first season (full review HERE) and eighth season (full review HERE) of the show were previously released on the preferred format we’re here to talk about today. Now that we got that obligation out of the way what do you say we rip this humungous 4K box set open? I haven’t read any of the books so my exposure going into it was limited and held only to what I had heard from friends that have been following from the outset. It’s simply because this one whopping big box set that houses a total of 33 Discs (23 BD-100s, 7 BD-66s, 3 BD-50s). And let’s not forget that one episode every season that’s perhaps one of the most shocking episodes ever to air on television, not to mention action packed. The intense orange and red fire the dragons breathe looks amazing as well with eery breath looking meaner and brighter than before. Conquest and Rebellion (HD, 44:47) – This animated history was also found on the Season 7 Blu-ray set. The quieter sequences all have the necessary reverb in large spacial environments with an abundance of ambient noises of nature and animal noises, and more. The densest parts of the soundtrack - including the opening title track - can sound a little soupy, too.
