Dr Thirteenth sees Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor reimagined in the trademark Hargreaves style as oval-shaped and yellow, complete with blonde hair, earring, striped socks and boots. As this story was written before the Thirteenth Doctor’s first series hit our screens, it sadly isn’t able to make reference to this Doctor’s adventures in the same way as the previous Doctor Who /Mr Men books have.

Nevertheless, I’d love to see Hargreaves‘ take on some of the characters and creatures the Thirteenth Doctor has encountered so far – perhaps a Mr Men T’zim Sha or a Mr Men Pting? they have been created by Adam in response to the number unofficial of fan art creations which have been published on the web. Of all the original Mr Men characters, Dr Thirteenth most closely resembles Little Miss Sunshine, which feels very fitting considering her generally bright and sunny disposition! Reading with Haylee: This was her second choice and I think she also liked that Dr Twelfth had the sunglasses, but I don’t think she enjoyed this one as much.Then seven years old, the curious young boy asked the kind of question young boys often ask: “Daddy, what does a tickle look like? Current showrunner Steven Moffat is the man behind perhaps Doctor Who’s scariest monsters EVER – the Weeping Angels. With that being said I don’t know if the First Doctor is always grumpy, but overall it is an adorable book which demonstrates who much he loves his grandaughter, even if he doesn’t show it.
