The console itself is almost the same size as the original — we say almost because the OLED unit is a teeny 0. It is the only way I play handheld mode, and it slides into the dock easy enough when I am not playing. Please note that if (1) the product is found to be working, (2) the fault/damage is due to misuse, neglect or reasonable wear and tear, or (3) the product is not one which was purchased from us (e. clearly said that the grip wasn't designed with the dock in mind, they're marketing it showing a docked Oled Switch with the Neo Grip on.

Firstly, I recommend using the round curvy bulbous grips, it’s the best of the 3 for extended use and follows the ergonomics of tired and true controllers (think ps5, Xbox and even switch pro controller).

It works out of the box with no issues, you can even connect it on a regular Windows computer/laptop and a PS5 and it has better and less buggy audio.One very notable feature of the NeoGrip is that it still allows the Switch system to be fully dockable. I bought the neogrip hoping it would feel like the regular joy con grip that comes with the switch, but with a screen in the middle. There's the flatter 'Snap Grips' with an embossed pattern, the chunkiest 'Plus' pair for those with big hands/long fingers, and an in-between pair with a hard edge on the top that makes them easier to grip with your middle digits while your index fingers are free to hit the shoulder buttons.

For a large game controller with a screen, the Wii U Gamepad is so much more comfortable to hold for long periods of time. There's even an ingenious little spacer panel that can be removed/added with a small screw driver depending on whether you're using the original or slightly larger OLED switch.Its flexibility in terms of interchangeable grips and interoperability with the regular and OLED models is a real boon, too.

This is actually a built in “extension” that allows the grip body to fit both the OLED model and the original Switch model by either including or removing this sliver respectively.I noticed that after a while, the switch gets really uncomfortable in handheld mode, so I decided to look into grips. No mention that having this grip on the switch (I have it myself) means that the Switch will not fit in the dock without bending out one of the walls of the dock. Over the past few years we've noted more frequent aches and pains in our hands, and in the interests of taking care of ourselves to avoid long-term issues, an ergonomic grip is a simple and effective way to increase comfort while gaming on-the-go — or while enjoying the eye-searing OLED screen on the newest Switch.
