She made made money off me (I drank the kool-aid and thought this book might be worth it) so I purchased it. Instead, she embraces who she is in VanderPump, for better or worse, and advises skirting responsibility and embracing obstinance as traits in “strong women.Schroeder aims to connect with her audience over things the culture at large has dismissed as unimportant and uncool. I wasn't expecting to like this book but I watch Vanderpump Rules so I just couldn't help myself but read it. and it's not really a memoir, because so much of it feels impersonal and it isn't really a "story time" sort of book. This book is for everyone out there who is tired of pretending they would rather read War and Peace or see a Daniel Day-Lewis movie about sewing than watch a Saw marathon and drink a delicious but basic AF cocktail like a Kir Royale.
