A better option is to keep a proper muzzle in your canine first aid kit. How Do You Train a Dog to Accept a Muzzle? Muzzling a dog isn’t cruel as long as you’re using the right one. Long term wear should be non-constricting and allow the dog to pant and drink water. Restrictive muzzles allow you to perform short term activities in your dog’s best interest.
