About this deal

A great twist at the end, although a frustrating one as Liz had chosen to forgive that particular character when they didn’t deserve true forgiveness, but Liz will forever remain in the dark about it. The police suspect Leah of wrongdoing and arrest her for felony theft and child neglect. She begs Adam to stand up for her, but he doesn’t know what to believe. The police show Leah a picture of Valerie, and it isn’t the woman Leah hired. All Leah has is a disconnected phone number and a blurry picture as evidence. He was married to Saffie but she has an affair and leaves him for wealthy American Todd. He is bitter that he was the wronged one but feels left out in the cold as the group apart from Andrew and Liz seem to have chosen Staffie, he holds secrets but one secret is about to be revealed, how will he react? A silence descends in which they regard me anxiously. They’ll put it down to grief, but I know I’m being short with them and until this morning I would have said they don’t deserve it. Along with Poppy, these women dropped everything to support me today, and over these last terrible three months. They came to the registrar with me when, having finally received confirmation of presumption of death, I went to register Andrew’s death, unable to deal with it alone. They sat with me at the meeting with the vicar, helping me plan the service, knowing what I wanted without having to ask. They set up the projector for the montage of photos of Andrew I spent hours putting together as I wept uncontrollably at his innocent childhood face. But one of them has ruined everything.

My Husband’s Killer sees a group of old university friends come together for a weekend get together on the Amalfi Coast. All seven members of this party are ready to relax and unwind over the course of the weekend. But when an awful and unexpected tragedy occurs, one member of this friendship group is left for dead, striking at the heart of this close-knit circle. But secrets come to the surface when it is revealed that the deceased was having an affair. Soon all those that were present on the holiday become a possible suspect. Who is capable of murder and betrayal? It's well written and well plotted and I certainly didn't see the ending coming - although the very end might have been a twist too far for me.Arriving on the Amalfi Coast for a weekend of fun in a luxury villa, seven people become embroiled in secrets, lies, betrayal, revenge and chaos before ultimately someone is murdered. Cut to a sunny divorced suburban mother, Leah Watts. She is in search of an emergency weekend nanny for her daughter Emma. Valerie, a woman in a bad wig and glasses, waiting for her glow-up, shows up for an interview. Leah is impressed with Valerie’s references and hires her on the spot. There are lots of novels around at the moment that centre around friends who go on holiday together, I really enjoy them and this one is one of the best that I've read in a long while. Despite the fairly large cast of characters, which does take some sorting out at the beginning, it's a novel filled with suspense, intrigue and mystery. So yeah, 2021's My Husband's Killer Girlfriend is my latest write-up. It's about a nanny who frames a woman for leaving her small daughter unattended. And yup, the pseudo nanny just happens to be the lady friend of the woman's ex-hubby. Basically it takes about twenty minutes (and a misplaced edit) before you realize that My Husband's Killer Girlfriend means just what it means.

They’re the GreenEc lot,’ Poppy says. ‘God, I suppose I ought to go and schmooze them – sorry not schmooze … I didn’t mean to make this sound like some sort of grim networking event.’My Husband’s Killer is an entertaining thriller with a gripping and interesting storyline and as the plot unfolds you question all your thoughts until the twist makes you sharply draw breath. Based on the book of the same title by Sandra Harvey and Lindsay Simpson, the teleplay raises some interesting aspects in the Croatian heritage of Kalajzich, now living in the Australian waterside suburb of Manly, where Andrew is the manager of a 5 star international hotel. The treatment claims that the Kalajzich marriage is a loveless one, with Andrew entertaining a major affair with his secretary, Marlene Watson (Lucy Bell). Murder is favored over divorce as the family considers divorce is `shameful' and murder is more cost effective, with an assumption that Megan would demand half of her husband's assets in a settlement. However, the title is also a misnomer, since Megan remains a cipher, and the narrative is mostly the police's point of view. Whilst the Kalajzich's family grief is presented as laughable silent meals, the teleplay also includes the domestic life of Detective Bob 'Snake' Inkster (Colin Friels) presumably in contrast, with Inkster's wife even contributing some strategic advice. Director Peter Andrikidis' experience in making television is evident in this Australian made-for-TV movie based on a real life crime story, but this isn't a good thing, since it plays like an episode of a police series. Subtlety isn't much in evidence here, and because of this bias, our empathy naturally goes to the guilty person whom we are supposed to want caught. So I'm going through all these free LMN movies on YT, but this is just awful. It's so bad I'm embarrassed to admit I watched it to the predictable end. I know we talk alot about plot holes, but this REALLY stretches it. She is a single mother who is chaotic apart from work. She is Liz’s best friend and business partner of Andrew. She holds many secrets, is a huge secret about to be revealed? She is also contemplating an indecent proposal….

As Poppy passes Trina and Saffie, she gives them an almost imperceptible signal that indicates I’ve been left alone. As one, they descend on me like well-schooled dancers in a ballet, getting every step right. Saffie is as glamorous and elegant as ever. Her dark blond hair falls in neat waves over the shoulders of the unfeasibly expensive navy

The premise is that she leaves her kid for three days with a nanny. Only the nanny is (insert title here) and from that point onwards nobody cares about the plot device, it's just the world against Karen and she must fight them all to prove how amazing she is. So what if she physically assaults random people and a cop, so what if she breaks in to another person's house. When I said yes, Owen said There’s your answer. You’re meant to be together. I take a breath, unsure whether I’m going to tell him what I found or not, and then Julian comes jogging over, and the moment is gone.
