The Branch & Claw Expansion for Spirit Island, featuring two new Spirits (Sharp Fangs Behind the Leaves and Keeper of the Forbidden Wilds) and a new Adversary (France) as well as adding Events to the Invader Phase of the game! There will be 2 healing cards that are chosen between on turn 3 depending on your elemental healing markers, and 2 healing cards that are chosen between on turn 5 in a likewise manner. Only 2 healing cards are claimed throughout the game. Since time untold, Spirits have existed on the Island. There are Spirits whose names are known by the local Dahan people - Spirits of growth and fire, of strength and river. But these are not the only Spirits. . .Legends whispered on the rarest of days tell stories of Spirits from the deepest, furthest reaches of the land. The news comes from publisher Greater Than Games, who explained that US-based retail chain Target reached out to them and expressed an interest in putting Spirit Island in their surprisingly robust tabletop section - the one caveat being that the existing board game designed by R. Eric Reuss was a bit too complex for their clientele. Invaders from beyond the known sea have upset the natural balance of your once peaceful island. Restore that balance with the official Spirit Island Organizer from The Broken Token for Spirit Island by Greater Than Games. Ted - Almost put Vitality tokens on major powers, but decided not to because there would need to be at least 4 majors that use that token. Would tilt this set of major powers too heavily towards Vitality, which wouldn't be ideal since this won't be a "required" expansion Empowering the token grants the spirit it belongs to a powerful effect, but the exact effect varies from spirit to spirit
