About this deal

Once our Star Wars Popcorn was ready we added it to our lovely valentines bowl as a gift for Daddy.

We then prepared the chocolate stars and silver pearls. Sylvia was really excited by this point and could not wait to create her star wars popcorn mix. So we began by popping the popcorn. This was one of Sylvia’s favourite parts, watching the kernels pop. We heated the pan up and added some olive oil. Once the pan was sizzling we placed in the popcorn and the lid and watched the action. Sylvia was wearing her Apron from the Arty Apple and we used our star themed table cloth from Messy Me. This is the Star Wars Popcorn you’ve been looking for! Sweet, salty, and delicious – it will be a new family favorite!

Daddy enjoyed the Star Wars Popcorn and Sylvia and I had fun together talking and creating a new experience. Step 3:Once you have made the popcorn, salt it liberally. It is so nice to taste the salty popcorn with the sweet marshmallow coating. Not quite like Kettle Corn but close. Preparing the Marshmallow Mixture Step 4:To make the Marshmallow Mixture, add 3 tablespoons of butter to a medium saucepan. Melt the butter on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the butter is completely melted. Step 10:Gently fold the marshmallow mixture in with the popcorn. Continue to add the marshmallow mixture a bit at a time, stirring between each addition. Step 7: Take the marshmallow mixture off the heat as soon as the last marshmallow has melted. Making the Marshmallow Popcorn

Once the popcorn was ready, Sylvia broke up the white chocolate into a microwaveable bowl and we melted it in the microwave. You can melt chocolate in the microwave or in a pan but we opted for the microwave as I find that easier and it doesn’t burn. Step 14: Now it is time for the candy mix-ins. We decorated our Star Wars Popcorn with Blue and Brown regular M&M’s, M&M Minis, and Pretzel M&M’s, a handful of Mini Marshmallows and a few Red M&M’s. Assembling the Star Wars Popcorn Step 2:After the popcorn is popped, make sure to remove all of the un-popped kernels. You don’t want to bite down on one of those! It was super fun making the Star Wars popcorn and quite a bit of work to get some fantastic photos but we managed to achieve our goals and the images turned out great in the end. Step 6: Stir until the marshmallows are covered in butter, and then continue to stir until the marshmallows are completely melted. Step 1:You will need 10 cups of popcorn. We pop our popcorn on the stove ( you can find our directions on How to Make Perfect Popcorn here) but you can use air-popped or microwave.
