Eau de Parfums have scents known as 'notes'. Top notes are the smells that are strongest immediately after application. Heart or mid notes follow, with base notes being strongest after the top notes have evaporated. I can't justify owning 'Sweet Like Candy' when I have a far superior & yummier scent: 'Meow' by Katy Perry. This is an 'Ehhhh' for me.

Sweet Like Candy would be the younger more innocent sister, while the limited edition would be the older more sultry sister. While the original is more subtle and closer the the skin, I personally find the limited edition to be a little bit more pronounced and not so subtle. I find the limited edition to be a little sweeter because of the red berries and the amber note. For light intensity: spray in a cloud around your head and shoulders, let the fragrance fall gently around you. So when I opened it up and the box said Limited edition, i thought " Weird, I'm pretty sure its not..oh well"My main goal at the perfume shop today was to test and compare SLC & Ari, neither of which I have tested before. Sadly I dropped the paper strip right after leaving the shop! I had sprayed some on my arm, just not on a pulse point. The cassis in this fragrance is fittingly known as “crème de cassis”. This is because it is not syrupy cassis, it is quite tender and creamy and great for every skin type.

Throw your expectations out of the window with this perfume and try not to be fooled by the name because though it truly is sweet, you won’t go around smelling only of candy. It is sweet in the way that viva la juicy scents are sweet but this one surpasses them. It sometimes smells like a combination of original juicy plus Sucré. The name doesn't make a ton of sense to me, as it doesn't really scream "candy"; this fragrance is more fresh & fruity sweet, rather than an almost-edible sweetness. On me the strongest and longest notes are the berries, which last throughout the fragrance's wear. The sugar water that I guess is meant to be pear and the bergamot is fairly developed too, which gives the fragrance some energy over the original Sweet Like Candy.I'm not sure how I feel about the bottle though, the soft pink is much prettier than the brash red but hey it's not really the bottle that i bought it for. A lot of “limited edition” perfumes are identical to the original scent, just in a different bottle. That is not the case with this one. It is extremely sweet without leaning towards smelling synthetic so it is fine for people who haven’t encountered niche stuff. The juvenileness is long lasting and it fits people in their twenties really well. It is not just playful, the projection and sillage is good. The price is also affordable.
