About this deal

Okay, so I can tell that for some of you, that sounds even more crazy than before. But trust me here, they’re a great resource to use with your students! So, my job here is to convince you of that. First, I’m going to tell you why they’re great and how you can use them, and then I’m going to tell you how to make a chatterbox. Fold each corner of the square into the middle of the cross. You should now have an even smaller square.

Shrimp, scallops, squid, tofu, napa cabbage, broccoli, carrots, snow peas, baby corns, white mushrooms Carrot, string beans, baby corns, snow peas, onions, white mushrooms, zucchini, pineapples, bell peppers Make it into a calculator - On the outside, start with your numbers. Then, under the first flaps, write your operations. Then, another set of numbers underneath, and finally the answers. See if your Maths students can work out what the answers are before you reveal them! This diagram gives you a step-by-step pictorial guide on how to make a chatterbox. But, if that’s not clear enough, then I’ve written it out too: Served on top of specially prepared sushi rice cubes and a dash of wasabi- choose from the following:

They can be used to help students learn about historical figures or essential discoveries. You can do this by writing important facts, dates, or intriguing details on each flap of your chatterbox, leading you to different noteworthy people, dates, or even things like scientific elements! Fold each corner of the square into the middle of the diagonal cross. You should now have a smaller square – one side should be covered in numbers, and the other with the Scout logo. Everyone should get into pairs or small groups. They should think about things that calm people down, cheer them up, or make them feel better if they’re feeling fed up or sad, or if they’ve had a bad day. If you’re not using the template, people will need to label each of the inside triangles with a number from one to eight.

Previously, all children taking part in Chattabox joined a team of between 8-10 other children of their age – in this team they had the opportunity to do a range of crafts, take part in games activities and enjoy refreshments together. The during the 2 ½ hours in the morning all the groups joined together in the main school hall for singing, drama, games and Bible stories. We are still reviewing arrangements for this year but we are committed to make sure all the children can expect the same tun and excitement they have experienced in previous years. Who can take part? Yellowtail, avocado, scallion, cucumber topped with 3 kinds of caviars Traffic Light Maki (8pcs) – Yellowtail, Avocado & Cucumber Topped with 3 Kinds of Caviars Slices of marinated beef, lightly coated, glazed in sweet & spicy sauce, bell peppers, snow peas, driedchili, served w/ steamed broccoli, crispy rice noodles You don’t have to use the chatterbox template – any square of paper would work just as well, the lines on the template just make it a bit easier to follow.
