About this deal

It certainly does not come under the budget-friendly option for a VIVOBAREFOOT with so many options and perks, which is understandable. It is not the most cost-efficient option when considering running or workout shoes. If your feet don’t sit, then VIVOBAREFOOT men’s shoes are the perfect fit. Maneuver around your legwork with a comfortable, versatile, and durable pair of shoes perfect for all your recreational, sports, and daily activities. After wear, the shoes are getting closer to a ‘roll’ but will never truly do that due to the amount of leather above them. Right now, it’s a pretty solid 3-part fold.

The knit upper, while lightweight and breathable, is definitely not going to be the most durable when it comes to resisting friction on the upper of the shoe. In addition, I actually don’t like running in this model outside either and feel like the knit in this shoe will be more prone to stretching out with longer running sessions. The upper is simple and straightforward with only one color and a hexagonal design on the side. Its main material is mesh engineered from recycled PET plastic, making it breathable and appropriate for summer and spring. Fit The 4mm light sole model is also an additional perk when mastering your grip and balance with the ground. Its wide design makes this model perfect for natural stability and balance, just as you would have with your standard feet but with the added protection of the Geo Racer men’s shoes. These shoes are also fit for leisure and recreational training sessions and activities, not just for intensive training sessions. It is perfect for active movements, maneuvers, and body-based training sessions.

The toe box has a fairly strong slope, leaving me with more room at the big toes than at my outer toes. Keep shape in mind, always, when selecting and sizing shoes. Sometimes you may have a severe mismatch that prevents you wearing a certain style at all, but usually you can play around with sizing and still enjoy the look you want. Sizing Vivo developed a new sole for these shoes that is extra grippy. In comparison to their everyday soles, I can definitely tell the difference. You can use them on the tennis court, but I haven’t heard from many people who have actually done it. Several months after releasing the Geo Court II, VIVO came out with the Geo Shell, a lighter and leaner version of their popular court shoe. I am wearing the same size and in the men’s as with the Geo Court II, but at the time of writing only the women’s is still available and is currently discounted.

Quality: High quality, they’ll last a while. No surprises here. My second vivobarefoot shoe and the quality is consistent so far. I’d also say they are my best looking shoes. These shoes look like any other running shoe you’d find from a major shoe brand. So, if running is what you have in mind or a shoe well suited to many foot movement activities, you should consider this model. Searching for slightly cheaper models of closely the same design does not guarantee the same function. Frequently Asked Questions: Vivobarefoot Geo Racer II If you’re just getting into barefoot shoes or are an avid barefoot shoe wearer, I think this sole is the perfect blend of enough material to protect the feet, but not too much to where you’re limited in sensory input from the ground.

Customer reviews

I like the new branding they’ve been using on the tongue of their shoes, and can even get behind the V on the sides. I think they’re going for an Adidas or Nike style where the brand symbol becomes a fashion statement in itself. It’s subtle enough that it doesn’t interfere with the versatility of the shoe, and I like it. Wouldn’t it be cool if a barefoot brand got so big it’s symbol was recognizable to the masses? VIVOBAREFOOT Geo Racer II shoes are perfectly designed for your running activities. They are lightweight, durable, comfortable, and breathable, making them perfect both as gym shoes and daily wear. Not at all. It’s not an, ‘either-or’– you know, sure it’s got the looks that make it perfect for getting up to mischief round the neighbourhood. But it’s technical, performance footwear – don’t be in any doubt about that. Cross-fit, lifting – those disciplines demand balance and the role the foot plays is fundamental. Or you might get acrobatic like the athletes we met doing calisthenics. When you blend the look, the flexibility and feel – how that improves balance and strength – it’s just a very elegant solution that sits across lifestyle and active.

VIVO has gone out of their way with the Geo Court models to give you a shoe that doesn’t ‘look’ barefoot. The detailing on the faux-sole, where it looks like you have a heel, for example, means people need to really look to see that this shoe is different. In the context of lifting and strength training, the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit excels the board. If you’re performing heavy barbell lifts, the 4mm thin sole will help limit the overall range of motion you’re working with especially in movements like deadlifts. I’ve deadlifted over 500 lbs in this model with ease and no sign of compression. It looks from the pictures like the Shell offers less space, but that’s not the case. They feel the same inside, but the upper material of the Court II is so much thinker and leather that it doesn’t hug the foot as tightly as the Shell.

Across the board, the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit has performed exceptionally well and there are a variety of pros that come along with this shoe. The only caveat to running is once again the kit potentially stretching and outdoor elements causing some breakdown. Across the board, the VIVOBAREFOOT Geo Racer II brings in another model with ultralight and versatile designs. It is highly rated thanks to its exceptional pros that set it apart from regular men’s shoes. Loving the Geo Racer deep-dive, Lee. Is the broader ambition for the Knit mainly to widen the appeal for customers in the ath-leisure market?

Ha! Not sure anyone wants a boxset about TPU. Careful what you wish for! TPU – it’s also called the no-sew, or the mudguard on this particular style. It’s where the upper bonds to the sole. 100% knitted upper means the knit bonds extremely well, directly to the sole. No mudguard. Great in theory – perfect in theory… For the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit’s performance, I’m breaking the below into a few different sections to discuss how this barefoot shoe performs in a variety of settings. Yep! However, if you like having a snugger fit in regard to length in the toe, then you may want to consider going down a size. You should still have plenty of toe splay room and width if you choose to do so. 3. Can you lift in Vivobarefoot shoes?
