About this deal

Be sure to look at your swatch under different lighting before doing your entire face. And don’t just rely on your bathroom lights, be sure to test out your foundation in natural lighting as well to get a sense of what it will look like when you’re spending time outside. Applying bronzer or blusher is a key beauty basic, but it’s important to use the right shade and application technique for you. So how do you choose the right shade of blush or bronze to complement your skin tone? And how do you decide between the two? In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know to apply bronzer and blusher like a pro. "

L’Oreal is one o my favourite drugstore brands. However, I have found their base products to be a bit hit or miss. Some of their foundations are amazing, a couple haven’t worn that well for me. Hiya everyone, coming at you with another base product review today. This time for the L’Oreal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. That name might be quite a mouthful, but the product itself is exactly what I’ve found myself looking for recently. Once you’ve determined your undertone, then you can move on to your skin tone. True Match Super-Blendable Foundation has shades that satisfy warm, cool, and neutral undertones, with colors ranging from fair to deep. I have certainly tested this Tinted Serum extensively. I’ve worn masks for hours where I could feel sweat dripping underneath it. Bearing in mind it is not usual for houses in the UK to have air con, I’ve done a workout on the hottest day of the year, gone from muggy rooms to ones with fans. I’ve sat in a hot car with my air con off as I was listening for sounds as I thought something was wrong with my car. It’s been into air conditioned supermarkets and then hot outdoors, humid walks etc. Nothing phases this product. It’s not transfer proof with masks, a little will come off. If you’re after a lightweight, easy to use skin tint that will last through hot, humid weather, then the L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum might just be exactly what you’re looking for! I will definitely be wearing it all Summer long, it’s so easy to wear. It looks gorgeous, it wears super well, it never looks heavy on the skin. I just love it!Once you know your undertone and depth category, here are the exact shades you have to choose from. I do agree that I haven’t found it to be comedogenic. It hasn’t broken me out or had any negative effect on my skin. I’ve worn this product about 10 times now. Other Ingredients: Water, Isododecane Dimethicone Alcohol Denat. Below are a few helpful tips you can use to find the right one.

As we mentioned, cool undertones appear in your complexion as hints of blue or pink and will be categorized as C in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. Warm undertones appear more yellow or golden and appear as W in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. If your undertones are neutral, which means you have a mix of warm and cool undertones, this will appear as N in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation.description":"Add a pop of colour to your cheeks – instantly brighten your complexion for every season with a hint of carefully applied blusher or bronzer. No matter your face shape, with the right techniques you can transform your features for a defined look. However, with this product, since it’s a skin tint, you need your skin to be dry? So I question how plumping and hydrating the hyaluronic acid would be. I’m no scientist though, so maybe there are other things in the formula that promote this. I find the finish a bit powdery actually. It reminds me very much of the Lancome Miracle Air de Teint which has been discontinued. I used to absolutely love that stuff and one year I wore nothing but all Summer. The shades were a bit crap, too warm or too grey. However, since there wasn’t much coverage, I could just about get away with it. Since that product was discontinued, I’ve been on a quest to find something like it. And I finally have! This performs just like it, it smells the same, it feels the same on the brush and with how it applies. It lasts just as long, it’s easy to wear for Summer and I’ve found a shade much better for me! Although I find the whole plumping tinted serum aspect confusing, the actual product is gorgeous! description":"Every season comes with its different challenges – dry winters, rainy springs, hot and baking summers and windy autumns. The question is, how do you find a makeup routine that works with you to combat the elements – regardless of climate – without leaving you with either that caked-on feeling or with half your makeup down your face by mid-day? Uniting skincare and makeup… yes it has a skincare ingredient, but I’ve already said above how I’m not sure how effective the HA would be in this formulation. I don’t find the formula overly drying, but it’s also not super hydrating either…. It does have a lot of alcohol in it to help it evaporate, so to me that’s a more drying ingredient.

When it comes to finding your perfect foundation match, the struggle can be very real. But we have a solution. Rather than filling up your arm with several shade swatches or just guessing which foundation is suitable based on your skin tone, we know a few shade-matching methods that actually work. They all start with choosing a foundation that offers a range across a variety of skin tones and undertones. L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup offers 47 true-to-you shades that precisely match your skin tone and work with your skin’s texture for flawless results. With that many shades, there’s a match for everyone, and to help you find yours we’re sharing tips on how to determine your undertone. Whether you're using a foundation shade finder or your amateur eye, you’ll be able to find your foundation shade in this vast collection. My L'Oreal True Match Foundation review couldn't be concluded until I really put it through its paces, with two full-on days – one day in the office, which included a two-hour, slightly sweaty commute and meetings, and the other a busy Saturday which mostly involved running errands, rounded off with a few drinks with friends. For me, the easiest and least messy way to apply the L’Oreal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is to place a few drops directly onto a dense buffing brush. I use the Estée Lauder Futurist Aqua Brilliance Watery Glow Primer and I don’t set my foundation with any powder. I use 4 spritzes of MAC Fix+ at the end of my makeup application. While most people probably already have an inkling of what their skin tone is, the same can’t always be said for undertones. The difference between the two is that your skin tone refers to your overall complexion, whereas undertone refer to the colors that come through your complexion and affect its overall hue. To easily determine your undertone try one of these two methods below: I can't believe it took me so long to pay attention to this foundation. I'd heard about it for years, and appreciated it as a beauty classic, but it took a couple of wears for me to really appreciate how brilliant it is. This method is bizarre — we’ll be the first to admit it — but we’ve seen it work. Hold a white piece of paper up to your skin. The white should create a cast of color on your skin. If your face suddenly appears more pink or blue, your undertones are cool, and if you give off a more yellowish hue, you’re warm. If your skin seems gray, you have neutral undertones.

Discover True Match, a skincare infused foundation, now available in 48 shades. The formula provides perfect, natural and true-to-skin coverage. Now upgraded with a new skin-matching technology, which includes up to 6 different pigments for a more precise match. Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid. The formula provides up to 24H hydration. Improves skin quality in 2 weeks. I agree that the finish is natural. It’s not matte, but it’s not dewy, so yes natural luminous is a good way to describe it. I will talk a bit more in a minute about how this performs on the skin and a product I think it’s similar to. I will also say now that I do love this product, it’s been performing well for me. The formula is just a bit confusing to me.I’ve been busy testing this Tinted Serum for the past few weeks. We’ve also been having a heatwave in the UK, so this base product has really been put through its paces! url": "https://www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/makeup/face-makeup/foundation-true-match-shade-finder"
