Baileys nabs the top spot again this year. Tasters enjoyed the sweetness, creaminess and colour, with some noting the ‘good balance between the cream and alcohol’. The Irish creams were assessed in September 2023 by a large panel of consumers who regularly buy and consume Irish cream liqueur. The table below contains all postcodes on a two day service. For these ones, it’s similar to a basic ganache. Obviously, they’re not as it has Baileys and butter added in, but roll with me here! The texture of these is smooth, and rich and heavenly. Unfortunately, this year, Baileys is a little bit more expensive, so you will need to spend a little more to have a flavoured Baileys bottle this Christmas. If you'll accept no imitation, make sure you shop around, as we think you should never need to buy Baileys full price. It's almost always on offer somewhere. Country cream is a cheaper alternative to Irish Cream that typically substitutes whiskey for other alcohol types, such as wine, fermented alcohol and spirits, and has a lower alcohol content (around 12% ABV): Heat the cream and baileys in a pan till just before boiling – it will be steaming, and hot to touch, but not bubbling.Pour the hot cream and Baileys over the chocolate, and leave the mixture to set for 5 minutes.
