As a whole the production on this album is really good, and the singing is better than you'd expect. I wish Bart got to sing more, because he does a lot better singing than rapping. As a Simpson fan too, a lot of the songs that aren't as great too are still pretty pleasing for fan service reasons. It's really cool that they made this. There were a number of notable musicians who appeared on the album, including B. B. King, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Dr. John and Marcy Levy. The Simpsons Sing the Blues is the first of many Simpsons Albums, made in 1990. The album contained originally recorded music. It is the only Simpsons' Album to originally release in LP vinyl format.

but the song is a ballad a christian song and about losing it all the sax solo at the end is flawless and indeed a blessingI love to see you smile-- This is just sweet. Springfield Soul Stew-- Pretty nice jam, only shame is that it's so short and could maybe have more to it. It's nice to hear Marge be so encouraging to Lisa's saxphoning. Go to Your Room!: One of the samples in "Deep, Deep Trouble" is a clip of Marge saying this from the episode "Homer's Night Out"."
