In truth, Angel Island Zone is set ablaze in Act 1 by a battalion of Fire Breaths. Bring It: Makes this gesture to Sonic at the beginning of their final battle, right before growing to giant size.

More Despicable Minion: While Dr.Eggman is, as usually, somewhat comical and buffoonish, Infinite is just a murderous tyrant with no funny moments. We Can Rule Together: Eggman offers this to Infinite after a fight with him, and Infinite accepted the offer. Infinite, pretending to be Omega: "Affirmative! I have never known d-d-d-defeat! I am not defeated. I am not weak, I am not weak, I AM NOT WEAK, I AM NOT WEAK... I AM NOT WEAK...!!!" Ice Paradise's section is erroneously accompanied by two screenshots of Ice Mountain Zone from Sonic Advance. Power Incontinence: Implied. After being defeated by Sonic and the Avatar, Infinite's body begins to glitch and warp like his virtual reality constructs, implying that they did so much damage to Infinite that his body couldn't contain or control the Phantom Ruby anymore. Villain Ball: After defeating Sonic in the Mystic Jungle, he lets him live, deeming him Not Worth Killing. Eggman calls him out on doing so, knowing that Sonic will continue to be a threat as long as he's still alive, and is ultimately proven right. To the Avatar. The Avatar's fellow soldiers were killed by Infinite, and since then, they have developed a fear of him, something Infinite uses to torment them. However, some encouragement from Sonic helps the Avatar conquer their fear of him and help Sonic take him down for good.The section erroneously claims that to access one of the game's Special Stages, the player must reach the end of an Act while holding one hundred Rings. In the game, the player is automatically warped to a Special Stage upon collecting one hundred Rings. However, regardless of how the player leaves the Special Stage, the Act that they entered from will be ended and they will begin the next Act instead. Mineral MacGuffin: He has some relation to the mysterious purple gemstone that is referred to as the "Phantom Ruby" by an in-game guide that everyone was after in Sonic Mania, implied by the sound it makes. The game reveals that the Ruby was given to him by Eggman.

Omega's entry states, " you must recover his dismembered pieces and reassemble him so he may join your party." In the game, the player finds Omega destroyed by the Nocturnus Clan in a location of Metropolis, but the player does not have to look for multiple pieces for Tails to reassemble him. Sonic Adventure 2 / Sonic Adventure 2: Battle: A summarization of Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. Asshole Victim: Shadow was cruel to him and his team... but they'd already put their lot in with Eggman to help take over the world and get power at that point. The first screenshot used for the Cavern Island's profile shows a screenshot of Volcanic Tunnel instead. In Mystic Jungle, Silver tries to hold his own against Infinite. Key word is tries. It ended as well as you'd expect, and Silver would've been killed had Sonic not stepped in. Ominous Visual Glitch: His aura occasionally has a glitch-like effect in some spots. The official Sonic Youtube channel's upload of his theme also has the image glitching out. His virtual reality constructs have the same glitching effect. Just before the final level of the game, Eggman is able to make him vanish like his constructs by recalling the Phantom Ruby, implying that part or all of his physical form had become a phantom construct. The Stoic: To the point of Dissonant Serenity. Infinite is never seen to be anything other than unnervingly calm, barely raising his voice outside of the occasional Evil Laugh and two This Cannot Be! moments. It helps that the mask hides his facial expressions. Episode Shadow shows that he was more emotive prior to the game. Pride. Infinite is undeniably powerful and dangerous, but he's so caught up in his own power and superiority that he never considers the possibility that he can lose. This pride causes him to make some careless errors, such as letting Sonic live when he could've easily finished him off. This is partly what makes his boss fights so satisfying, as you get to show Infinite the hard way that he's not as invincible as he thinks. The entry states that Super Sonic defeated Dr. Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. While the player can obtain all seven Chaos Emeralds, they cannot use Super Sonic in the final Zone, as there are no Rings there to use to transform. Also, while Sonic does transform into Super Sonic in the game's Good Ending, that only happens after Eggman has already been defeated.
