About this deal

Overall, the stem wobble in both the N/S and E/W directions is definitely noticeably better in the Zealios V1 Reduxes than the Zealios V2 switches, and the OG Zealios V1 switches for that matter. Scores and Statistics I’ve gathered everything you need to know about tactile key switches all in one place—so you can make an informed decision about the most important part of your next mechanical keeb. What are Tactile Switches? The brown switch is how a tactile switch works Zilent– The 67g Zilent switches are very Crisp & responsive. These switches have a tactile bump feeling at the very top with more cushion during the bottom out compared to the 65g Zilent V2. Uncertain how Zealios compare with Cherry MX Browns, seeing as I don't have any Browns with me, but I do have Zealios V2s. I was... very not impressed by the Zealios.

Zilent V2 switches are the Silent yet tactile switches from Zeal PC. These switches are in 4 variants of 62g, 65g, 67g, and 78g bottom-out forces. I think that Zealios are again the way to your feelios.Below my review, feel free to ask me anything if you would like to know anything particular, i will try to answer at my best.

The tactile bump between these two switches is rather close, with the Sapphires being perhaps an edge heavier than the Zealios V1 Reduxes, but also located significantly higher up in the downstroke than the Zealios. C3 Equalz Kiwi The Glorious Holy Panda switches were revealed in 2020 to much fanfare. Glorious called these “the most tactile switches ever created”. While much of it is marketing hyperbole, you can’t deny that these are some of the best tactile switches out right now. Without question, the stem wobble on the Zealios V1 Redux switches is significantly better than that of the Invyr Pandas in both N/S and E/W directions. Tecsee Sapphire V2 SOUND: Ok this is weird. I always disgusted zealio for the sound, but dammit, this changed as well. While the tactile bump in these switches is roughly the same size, the C3 Kiwis definitely do edge out the Zealios in terms of overall strength of the tactile bump. This feeds in well to my statement above that the Zealios V1 Reduxes are more of a ‘light-medium’ strength tactile switch than a medium strength one.

The stem wobble in both the N/S and E/W direction is much smaller in the Zealios V1 Redux switches than the Tecsee Sapphire V2s. Different and slightly inferior to Holy Panda imho for sound (panda has more of a THOCC), due the housing, but the difference is so small once lubed that i really don't mind using these over HP .Some might even prefer the sound of Zealio, this is a subjective thing, but whatever you prefer, the Zealio sound is a lot better now. Please note that PCB-mounted switches can still be used in many plate-mounted keyboards. As long as your PCB underneath has 2 extra holes next to the center post, it will support PCB Mounted switches and add extra rigidity to your build. If your PCB does not have the extra holes, then you can simply cut the small plastic legs off to make them Plate-Mount! The tactile bump generated is a great indicator of when a keypress is logged without having to fully bottom out your keys. Why Use Tactile Switches? However the tactility even if it's huge, it's fast and sharp. Not everyone might like this kind of tactility. We also have the big upcoming contender: The holy panda. This guy has been the talk of the town for a while and direct comparisons between the two have been happening all over the place. In this review, I will not discuss the holy panda to too much detail. This is not a holy panda review. You will see a fair amount of tidbits concerning holy pandas, however, because that’s probably a lot of the market for the Zealio V2. The tactile bump of the Azure Dragons is just a hair bit stronger and larger than that of the Zealios V1 Redux switches, though the biggest difference between them comes in the fact that the tactile bump starts towards the top of downstroke in the Azure Dragons rather than roughly a quarter of the way down in the Redux switches.

TLDR: If you wished Box Royals were smoother and rounder, you'll like these. If you loved V1's and didn't like Box Royals at all, you might not like V2's. At higher activation speeds, the Azure Dragons, and especially their topping out, become significantly louder and higher pitched than that of the Zealios V1 Redux switches. While the tactile bump of the V1 Redux switches might be just a hair stronger than that of the OG V1 switches, they are altogether remarkably similar in terms of tactile bump placement, strength, and overall size as well. Zealios V2 (62g.) The tactile bump of the Zealios V2 switches is not only a slightly stronger tactile bump, but it is definitely located earlier on in the downstroke and has a much less substantial linear pre-travel region. Looking to start with the best? Then Zeal may be the answer for you. Features

Zealio 78g - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. Tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. From beginning to end, the spring is heavier than all other Zealio variants. It comes in 4 variants which are classified according to the bottom-out force of the switches like 62g, 65g, 67g, and 78g.
