About this deal

However, I was enchanted once again, and my mind was filled with memories. I have no idea what would happen if I compared the old and new releases of Scent Intense, but I don't think the fragrance has changed. Want to know more? Let’s take a closer look in my Costume National Scent Intense review. Fragrance Notes

As far as gender/age are considered, I find this to be an entirely unisex and ageless fragrance. I think it would smell particularly sexy on female skin, though I wear it myself without issue. And though it doesn’t strike me as a mature scent, it would smell a little bit weird on a teenager; twenty and up is probably the best bet. When To Wear It Cyber Garden EDP: a fresh, enveloping scent inspired by a futuristic garden where rare and unusual notes create a vibrant balance. There is excellent longevity in this dark and smoky beauty. Sillage and endurance are highly praiseworthy. It is a cult fragrance, unique, luxurious and outrageous, rich and resinous, and that’s what I love about Scent Intense. A very sexy elixir that always induces naughty intent every time I wear it or smell it. It is dark in the sense that it is very amber and incensed, only slightly fruity, and is complex and intriguing at the same time. Wear it in the frosty nights of late fall and winter, it will warm you up.Scent Intense smells like amber, but not aquatic and salty (which I prefer), rather it'ssweet and woody. The amber is so soft, smooth and fluid that it's easy to imagine a huge drop of amber resin flowing down a sawn tree. It is incredibly fragrant, smelling of sandalwood, cedar and rosewood at once, though it's difficult to imagine such a hybrid. Additionally, the performance, price, and presentation make this one almost a no brainer. If you are looking for a unique amber fragrance for a decent price, look no further – you’ve found it. The most similar fragrance to Scent Intense would probably be Scent, also by Costume National and also released in 2002. Scent Intense is of course a flanker of the original scent, so they are alike in that they both feature amber, tea, hibiscus, jasmine, and wood. Scent Intense, of course, adds vanilla, leather, and spice to the mix. There was also, for a time, a Scent Intense Parfum, which added myrrh, but it seems that it is no longer available. I’d have to travel bleary eyed and hungover (or still drunk) as the sun rose the next morning, witnessing my semi-futile attempt to get to work on time still wearing the previous nights clothes, still smelling like scent intense. I tested Scent Intense only minutes after I tested Scent Sheer, and I must say the differences are quite obvious.

By sunset I was showered and wearing it again, going out again, somehow repeating without intention or want, the night before, a chance encounter with a different person on a different street in a different place. I think that Scent Intense is a very appealing fragrance on a personal level, but I don’t think that it would work for everyone. This is not a common fragrance and will definitely not be for the Dior Sauvage or Flowerbomb crowd. I envision hippy, intellectual, and artsy types really appreciating this kind of fragrance, which I think is probably Costume National’s intended audience. As I am kind of a hippy/artsy sort of person myself, I feel that the scent accords quite well with me. The milk note in the fragrance gains sweetness from amber, labdanum and tonka beans. In a few hours it seems that the milk in 21is baked milk, poured into a cedar cup, giving off an aroma as well - clean, fresh, woody, but perfectly combined with milk-amber, spicy sweetness. Scent Intense, is not only an intensified version, but an entirely different composition altogether. I immediately detected the patchouli in the opening which had a rather dusty and leathery feel to it.J EDP: a tribute to Japanese tradition with a modern twist. The fragrance combines fine ingredients with typical Japanese delicacy, creating an ethereal and luminous fragrance. It's been years... Oh my God, twenty years since Scent Intense was released! Even though I didn't get it in 2002, years have passed, many perfume novelties have passed my nose, my collection of tea fragrances has greatly expanded and the bottle of Scent Intense long ago ran out. Despite its rather gothic approach, I find this fragrance elegant, feminine and sophisticated. Perhaps even at times a little clean and powdery. While the patchouli and amber tend to dominate this fragrance, there is also a tar-like note blended with a 'raisin-y' tobacco note that only adds to the intrigue and the warmth. Costume National Scent Intense is a spicy, floral amber fragrance featuring hibiscus, tea, rose, vanilla, and patchouli. Offering a unique scent profile, strong performance, and good value for money, Scent Intense is a solid option for those searching for an amber fragrance off the beaten path.

Soul Parfum EXT: a pure and elegant unisex oriental fragrance! The Amber heart creates a unique, noble and romantic olfactory symphony. Overall, it’s an iconic bottle design which is immediately recognizable as a Costume National fragrance. Personally, I really like it. Performance I had to consciously stop wearing it because of all the life complications that ensued when I wore it out. No scent in my collection has roused the passion and desire of my opponent like this. I say opponent because this is not a scent for partners, only intimacy; a perfect scent for a chance conversation while seated on a banquette in the darkest corner of the bar, waiting to use the restroom, in those moments when both parties realize they will be leaving with each other whether they feel like it or not. There is an aura of inevitability that Scent Intense lends to certain first meetings. If you don’t “get” this you’re focusing (perhaps justifiably) on what it is; never knowing what it does. After some time on the skin, Scent Intense gives off spice and leather notes. The smell of dried apples. And patchouli, which smells like bitter, powdery chocolate. It all blends harmoniously into the tea aroma, gradually turning it into a spicy tea with sandalwood cream aroma. That was my life when I wore scent intense most of the time, a time I don’t even remember that well anymore. All I remember now, through the collages of memories of venues and people and streets and words and bodies, is that when I wore this I was a god.Italian designer brand Costume National has made a name for themselves in the fragrance world with their unique, sometimes avant-garde creations. Releases like Costume National Homme (the parfum version of which I reviewed here), 21, Soul, and Cyber Garden are widely acclaimed by fragrance aficionados for their niche quality and daring scent profiles.
