About this deal

It’s a basic system, as you would expect from a budget vacuum, and it works well on loose dirt and dust. But there’s no collar system to push out clumps of hair or other debris, so you’ll sometimes need to pull these out by hand. Breeze Evo is a bagless vacuum with large 3 litre capacity and a mini turbo brush to help loosen stubborn pet hairs from your carpets or upholstery. The 4.5m stretch hose is long enough to clean a full 13-step staircase, without having to balance the cleaner halfway up the stairs. Suitable for different floor types, Breeze Evo has a rotating brush bar that can be adjusted to suit different floor types. This lets you deep clean carpets with different pile lengths, yet still glide smoothly on hard floors. Breeze Evo upright vacuum has an adjustable rotating brush bar, giving you the choice of five different settings. This allows you to get the best results on all the different floor types in your home, from the kitchen tiles to the fluffy carpets in the bedroom. The Hoover Breeze Evo Pets is better at cleaning light dirt and dust than larger debris on carpets. You have to lift the vac off the floor and place it directly on top of bigger bits. Otherwise, the floorhead just pushes them around. The tool and hose setup also poses problems for everyday use. They’re bulky to store on the vacuum, often fall off, and it’s a fiddly process to change them around when needed.

There’s a wide range of tools included with this Hoover. Along with the pet tool, there’s also Hoover’s longest crevice tool, a 2-in-1 dusting brush and furniture nozzle, and an extension tube. It leaves floors clean, but expect to do a few more sweeps than you would with a more expensive vacuum. You’ll also need to play around with the brush bar height, as cleaning performance drops if the brushes are too high. The tools are useful for above-floor cleaning. However, there isn’t a mini turbo tool included – you’ll need to buy the Hoover Breeze Evo Pets vacuum if you want one. Hoover Breeze Evo Suction Power and Cleaning Performance There’s also a generous 3 litre dirt capacity that comes in handy for longer cleaning sessions. The Shark AZ910UKT, which is another pet model, only has a 0.99 litre tank. And the more expensive Hoover H-Upright 500 Reach is still smaller at 1.5 litres. The “MAX” line shows you when it’s full, although it’s easy to see this anyway as the canister is made from clear plastic. It’s worth noting that dust and dirt doesn’t always settle to the bottom, so you might not get the full 3 litres of capacity. The brush roll is higher in the hard floor modes, but if you have it too high, the suction power is noticeably less effective. We do like that you can have the brush roll completely off the surface for delicate floors, though. Stair Cleaning In our opinion, the main downfall to this Hoover is edge cleaning. The bulky floorhead isn’t quite capable of getting larger debris from the edges of skirting boards and furniture. It leaves a wall of mess, which then means you have to go through the hassle of swapping hoses and attachments over to clean the last bits.

They’re also not as effective as HEPA filters, although they are as efficient as can be expected for a vacuum in this price range. It’s certainly not the best vacuum for allergy sufferers though. Emptying and Cleaning There’s a 2-in-1 dusting brush and furniture nozzle, an extension tube, and Hoover’s long crevice tool. The latter is a welcome addition, as crevice tools are getting shorter on a lot of recent vacuums, which limits where you can use them. litre Capacity - Which can also be emptied easily and hygienically, without exposing your hands to the dirt. The rotating brush bar, with its variable height settings, is a good feature that makes this vacuum more versatile. It comes with a few helpful accessories, too.At 6.4kg, the Hoover Breeze Evo also isn’t the lightest upright vacuum. For example, the Shark NV702UK is a lighter 5.2kg, and the Hoover H-Upright 500 Reach is a bit less at 6.1kg. When you’re finished, the vacuum is light enough to carry upstairs to carry on cleaning the bedrooms. So, stair cleaning is a strong area for the Hoover Breeze Evo Pets. Pet Hair Overall, we think the Hoover Breeze Evo provides value for money if you want a basic vacuum. But if you can stretch the budget a tiny bit further, opt for the Pet model to get the turbo tool. Even if you don’t have pets, it’s still a very useful gadget to have in your cleaning arsenal. Comparison With Other Vacuums Hoover Breeze Evo vs Hoover Breeze Evo Pets The belt to power the brush bar is a weak point we should mention. It’s prone to breaking or slipping off, which is a real inconvenience. And it’s not easy to access it for maintenance or cleaning, either. Other Tools and Accessories
