When Elliot found his artist, that was the other thing that drove me crazy. That was shady as all get-out. Really give it some thought. If a guy did that to you, could you really forgive him? Yes, she went to find herself and did what she needed to do, but good grief, honey, no. Just no. The same artist whose art — paintings — he's spent millions of dollars on through auctions. So he went there and left the heroine because he just can't NOT see this artist and not know if the connection is real or not because, GOD FORBID, what if she's the one right? 😤 Turns out, there was no spark (duh) and he didn't even finish the date BUT he conveniently stayed there for more than a week for reason I couldn't care to remember. 😡 What's worse was he didn't even grovel as hard as I would've preferred him to. 😒 When the fun, scorching moments between them begin, it's off the charts. The banter goes on, and only makes everything hotter. And trust me when I tell you that Elliot may be possessive, but so is Kathryn. I really liked that he knew how to push all her buttons, even if not in the most tactful way. His social skills need some tuning, and his having-feelings-for-someone-and-not-knowing-what-to-do-with-them need that too. Big time. Then one day Elliot sees Kate in a different light and all of a sudden their attraction can’t be denied. So this is the story of a couple that took them years like seven years to finally have feelings for each other and start noticing because both thought they were enemies, because they also work together in the same company. I’m also glad that I don’t have to read a hero or a heroine being with many people or have somebody along those seven years because it would be a annoying scene lol. I mean the hero did have many woman but I’m glad that the heroine didn’t have to see it in real life of them coming to the office or the heroine see it outside either. The heroine decides she wants to wear something more better than before and then the hero starts to pay attention her. It’s also a bit hot that the hero says that he’s been watching the video of the heroine dancing with a hot outfit and keep thinking about only her… which means he never went or go to anyone else since he finally starts noticing the heroine 😙💜💜

Kathryn works as IT team manager for Elliot’s company. Kathryn loathes him and his Casanova/asshole behaviour, Elliot looses his patience with her some times too. Yet in no time they start no strings attached relationship and let me tell you it’s one of a kind relationship that is slowly changing for both of them. Elliot and Kate were a joy to read. I literally exclaimed ‘I knew it’ at approximately 11pm last night because I couldn’t put it down. It’s a whirlwind ride that you won’t want to get off.
