About this deal

Shea, Cam (May 4, 2007). "Spider-Man 3 AU Xbox 360 Review". IGN. Archived from the original on April 27, 2014 . Retrieved April 26, 2014. Watch as Spidey learns how to discover the true power hidden in the symbiote within under Luke’s tutelage. Just don’t annoy him; he’ll probably bash you into the ground like a red and blue tent peg! Adam Bankhurst (June 7, 2019). "Screenshots Reveal Cancelled Spider-Man Game That Became Prototype 2". IGN. Archived from the original on June 2, 2021 . Retrieved May 29, 2021. The various combos make combat feel varied and piledriving enemies from **** still feels fun as ever If the same handful of crimes in the last Spider-Man game kept you happy, the expanded roster of events -- Activision said there's three times as many events in Spider-Man 3 -- will keep you playing, but please don't take that as a ringing endorsement. Like any supervillan in Peter's life, this title's got problems.

Rob Leane (December 5, 2019). "Spider-Man 4 Canceled Game Footage Revealed". Den of Geek. Archived from the original on January 25, 2022 . Retrieved March 4, 2021.As cool as some of Spider-Man's combat moves look, the fights are generally pretty lifeless, and the camera tends to make things frustrating. Spider-Man 3: The Game Review (X360, PS3)". GameTrailers. May 7, 2007. Archived from the original on April 26, 2014 . Retrieved April 25, 2014. Jared Moore (September 10, 2021). "Gameplay From a Lost Spider-Man Game Has Resurfaced After More Than a Decade". Archived from the original on September 12, 2021 . Retrieved September 13, 2021. Spidey and the X-Men fighting alongside each other with the other Avengers and Marvel heroes. Maybe dreams really do come true! At first, it's breathtaking. Activision says the city is 2.5 times bigger than the one in Spider-Man 2, and as the sun bathes the towering buildings in light and you somersault into different sections of the sprawling metropolis without any load times, it's easy to get swept away in the visual upgrade. You throw a web -- it comes out lax, hits something and goes taut in Spidey's hand -- and set off to bring justice to the city, which is no small task in the sandbox environment.

The ending sees Spider-Man successfully thwarting Venom’s plan to take over Manhattan but at great cost. Gwen Stacy dies after being thrown off Oscorp Tower by Venom whereas Peter barely saves Mary Jane from falling off herself (the same event which kills Gwen). Although New York is prettier than last time, Spider-Man 3 is not up to snuff visually. Cars, buildings and textures pop in and out as you shoot through areas; you'll still see the same civilians over and over; the frame-rate chugs along as Spidey swings; the view gets a smear of Vasoline as lights in the night crop up; and collision detection is laughable - at one point, Spidey "dodged" a missile by letting it pass through his pelvis. Spider-Man 3 is a 2007 action-adventure game based on the 2007 film of the same name. The game is the sequel to 2004's Spider-Man 2, itself based on the 2004 film of the same name. It was released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Game Boy Advance on May 4, 2007, and for the PlayStation Portable on October 16, 2007. Published by Activision, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were developed by Treyarch, while Vicarious Visions handled the development of the other versions, which are drastically different. Beenox ported Treyarch's version of the game to Microsoft Windows.

The Darkness

The morality system of choosing to help people or ignore crimes is a nice touch too. It’s not quite Infamous, but it’s something! 9. Spiderman 3 (2007) Joseph Knoop (December 3, 2019). "Unreleased Spider-Man Game Discovered On Debug Wii Console". IGN. Archived from the original on October 20, 2020 . Retrieved March 4, 2021.
