About this deal

Mosura BT-9 appears to be a mixture of bacteria found in aquariums to supplement your contained ecosystem to prevent sludge, increase ammonia-Nitrite-Nitrogen conversion cycle and to outcompete pathogenic bacteria for food by established colonies that are present rather than growth speed. Because none of the ingredients are disclosed it is impossible to say what is in BT-9, but based on my experiments, it is the slower growing aquatic bacteria, but it does form a nice biofilm over time if you do not have large shrimp populations that strip it bare. I cannot comment on other ingredients in the product as it is not disclosed. Overdosing fouls the water.

The first of which is how long you have been using Bacter AE. Glas Garten, the company behind this product, recommends using half the recommended amount during the first week. As you can see the functions of all ingredients, none of them cause any harm to the shrimp. So, Bacter AE is safe for your shrimp. However, the perfect dosage of Bacter AE plays the crucial role of safety for shrimp. Official Dosage Recommendation For Bacter AE Also, the dosage may vary depending on the colony of shrimp. The capacity of the tank to grow biofilm is another concern. The following recommended dosage of Bacter AE can be safe for your shrimp. Tank Capacity Furthermore, the Shrimp Baby Food also uses the astaxanthin additive that is designed to bring out the colors of your shrimp, especially if they are red, orange or yellow. Coverage Hemicellulase in Bacter AE aids in resisting any disease in your shrimp. As a result, the survival rate of your shrimp becomes higher. 8. Lactobacillus

Problems With Bacter AE

Shrimp King Bio Tase: Shrimp King is a brand that I prefer as I have used their other products. Have not personally try this one but have hear good things. It is more expensive then bacter ae by a few dollars. Firstly a bit about aquatic bacteria: most aquatic bacteria are slow- growing. This means that biofilm is produced slowly. Biofilm is a gel-like mucoid substance secreted by bacteria that they live in. Biofilm in aquaria are almost always gel-like. Because aquatic bacteria is often slow growing, the shrimp outstrips the biofilm faster than it can regrow. There are biofilm promoter products and direct biofilm products and combinations thereof. Bacter AE is easy to feed and overfeed. Keep in mind all the time that it is better to underfeed than overfeed. All you have to do: In addition to oxygen absorption, there may be other factors that control the activation of Bacillus subtitles in water. For one is their food. I believe that oxygen absorption is for activation only, which means that you will only get X-times of live Bacillus subtitles because you only added X-times in your tank - who knows how many do activate. Growth and/or propagation is another issue. Bacillus subtitles has the potential to grow exponentially given that you have proper water conditions (e.g. pH and temperature) and source of carbon and nitrogen through decaying leaves, piece of drift wood, cholla, uneaten food, and nitrate. Therefore, a pinch amount of Bacter AE may be detrimental still for your tanks (some people did experienced this). And yes, the other ingredients included in Bacter AE (e.i. amino acids, polysaccharides, xylanase, glucanase, amylase, protease, and hemicellulase) can be food for the bacterias as well. Unfortunately, the scoops that they give us are quite big though and then the recommended dosage is one scoop per day.

Have you tried anything that is not safe for shrimps, but in super low doses? That might kill the shell bugs but not the shrimp.Lactobacillus present in Bacter AE improves the digestive power of your shrimp. So, your baby shrimp can search for more foods like adult shrimp. 9. Bacillus Subtilis The price should not scare you. Because the container lasts a long time due to tiny dosages. Related articles:

Easy to use: There is no complicated steps or preparation needed. Just dissolve the necessary amount and pour that into the fish tank. You can find the recommended directions for a 120-liter aquarium (which is a 31.70-gallon aquarium) below: I do 3:1 boiling water to Repashy but I've seen 2:1, maybe on my latest pkg. I freeze it in smaller containers or bags but thaw it before feeding. It's supposed to stay intact for 24 hours IIRC. I sometimes offer small bloodworms & sometimes add small frozen foods to Repashy. Nobody liked a "seafood gel mix" or frozen brine shrimp much...Sera O'nips were not super popular with my hillstreams.
