The astonishing Florabotanica came to life in a four-hand score. The two composers, Olivier Polge and Jean-Christophe Hérault, have written a music of scents that play on two major accords. Pink Riviera has a strong grapefruit and citrus beginning that is subsequently well-balanced by a delicate rose and jasmine. Although sweet and delicate, the musk and oak are not at all overpowering. Given that both perfumes are floral and share a lot of notes in common, Bogema and Florabotanica are quite similar to one another. Florabotanica is an herb-forward perfume that opens with a gentle mint. The energizing mint is flavorful, sweet, and fresh, then comes that beautiful rose that is subtle and a bit sharp, but not heavy or powdery. The rose and green essences are photorealistic, giving you that experience that only a springtime garden would. This perfume leans unisex and can be worn by anyone.I could not initially elicit what smelled so good here. But it smelled, smelled, just wonderful. Later I came then on it that it was rose with mint, but only when I had read here the Amber makes this freshness soft after 1 to 2 hours and the fragrance changes from "freshly showered" to "freshly creamed".
