POV: I do heroic raid with my guild and do 16-20 M+ keys. I just maxed out of wyrm crests and have the raid trinkets I wanted and in S2 I now no longer get anything out of clearing the raid with my guild. If it was part of gearing progression, it would be miserable. You would feel compelled to farm so many types of lower level content that you (likely) wouldn't enjoy. To me the 6:1 ratio means they really only ever intend for you to do this to go up 1 crest level at a time and not shuffling through multiple tiers because that would scale out of control (6, 36, 216). or you did mythic plus to fill your fault with more option or help some guidies but got some crest you dont need. I don't do mythics nor do I do raids. I am not in a guild, because honestly there is so very few people around, these days, and not just because so little to do. What i wanna know is does the 15 crests you get when trading up count with the weekly cap or not? For example, if I already have the weekly 90, can I still trade up for an extra 15? Crests can now be traded up for higher-level Crests once reaching the lower level Crest’s item level or higher.

Blizz is treading very carefuly with this because they know players do not WANT to do the latter, but absolutely will (while having a miserable time) if it provides a meaningful boost to gear progression. For the same reasons I am also hoping upgraded crests are also subject to the weekly cap. Once you get max level gear, and don't do the raids or mythics because they are not something I enjoy at all, there isn't much else of interest at all. This is the area blizzard have failed for the past 20 years, and why they keep hemorrhaging players. Casual players genuinely have almost nothing to do that is worth doing that isn't a bore fest. I appreciate the ease at which alts can level and get to ilvl 385..just 1ilvl away from being able to do every dragon-flight lfr which doesn't interest me.
