About this deal

By Allah’s mercy, he ( salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was gentle and lenient, so they loved him, they were very attached to him and obeyed hi lovingly. And if he had been harsh and strict they would have ran away from him and be repelled. Here’s the Qur’an: here is how to do da’wah. In the early days of Islam the tribe of Quraish who were strong and many and lived in and around Makkah, disliked Islam. Assalamo ‘alaykum, like my previous two posts 1 and 2, what follows is a compilation of benefits transcribed from a tafseer class that I am sharing with the encouragement of my teacher, may Allah preserve her.) Unswtnd + Unfltrd is a space for women to feel like they are not alone in the hardships or struggles that they are facing. Some conversations may be lighthearted, some may touch upon taboo topics, but the overall mission for this podcast is to make every woman realise that she is not alone in whatever struggle she may be going through. No time for inside pictures, sorry, there 5 hours left before Ramadan and I still have tons of prep ahead of me insha’Allah.

Please note that the links to the old version of this notebook have been taken down. I have re-written it with new material and in a better format. Ensuring a good night’s rest involves creating a bedtime routine that is composed of healthy and calming activities to perform before sleeping. This routine is like a gradually slowing oscillating swing. While establishing this habit initially may seem challenging, I have discovered that maintaining consistency leads to a smoother bedtime experience.Al-Qaswa was the camel that Prophet (saw) often mounted – in Hajj while traveling to Makkah when he came to Medina, etc. The story of Qaswa starts with a tiny intro of hijrah (which marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar) – how Qaswa carried the Prophet (ﷺ) across a desert from Makkah to Medina. Then the story of how she chose a resting place for the Prophet (saw) in Medina and how she accompanied the Prophet (saw) in his 1st and last pilgrimage unfolds one by one. 24) Arabic letters (alif to khaa) When (Prophet) Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, he said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.” So did Messenger of Allah Muhammad (ﷺ) when he was told: “A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them”. But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)”. [ Bukhari] I loved how Muhammad (saw) named his animals too. It’s said that Al-Qaswa’ was the name of the Prophet’s one of the 3 she-camels; the other two were named Al-Jad`aa and Al-Adbaa’. In this story, the user has to clean the camel, give her water, feed her healthy treats, get her ready for traveling, etc. You can see one of the clips HERE. 29) Arabic numbers (sifr & waahid) The brief, uncomplicated stories are wonderfully delivered and illustrate essential values of the Quran, such as love, humility, devotion, patience, and trust.

Mufti Menk needs no introduction! In case you weren’t aware, he has his own podcast hosted on Muslim Central . Muslim Central is the daily dose of Islamic reminders and inspirational content we all need from time to time. O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire whose fuel is men and stones, […]} This is what Allah says in the Qur’an regarding the way the Prophet (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) used to teach the Sahabah: Prophet Muhammad himself was a very kind and loving person. He treated every one, young and old, with kindness and respect. Teach your children about Allah’s affection for believers as well as the harshness of His retribution on those who reject His Message. The Ark of Nuh عليه السلام is a beautifully illustrated and imaginatively written story about Prophet Nuh (Noah, عليه السلام) that will fascinate children before bedtime. The story of Ibrahim (السلام‎ عليه) starts with him and his family in the desert. Then the tiny intro of how Makkah came into being and Ramzan sprouted. Then there’s also a tiny intro of how Kabah was created. The Beautiful Names of Allah (derived from the explanation of al-Qawaid al-Muthla by Shaykh Uthaymeen raheemahullah) – this is a children’s book taken from this one below: In this interactive book, each letter from alif to khaa has a story of its own. Our fav is baa – one of the 2 sheep sunbathing on the beach says in a sheep-ish voice “look, a boat!” and the other says “that’s not a boat. That’s the letter baa”. Then both friends laugh “baaa..baaa…”– You get the subtle introduction of phonics? The whole book is filled with English words starting with that sound (example given in next point). Mommying While Muslim is hosted by two American born and bred Muslim mums who share their experiences in raising second-generation kids . They’re acutely aware of the unique challenges their families face on top of the regular messes that all mums share. Story of Sulaiman (السلام‎ عليه) discusses how hoopoe tells him about the nation of Sheba and their queen. He sends the message of Allah to the queen who then visits him and accepts Islam after seeing his genuine da’wah (when he didn’t accept her bundles and bundles of gifts). 15) Maryam and Isa (السلام‎ عليهم)

Hosted by Usman, Deen Inspiration invites influential Muslims from all around the world to share their knowledge, gems of wisdom, practical tips and advice on a variety of Islamic topics. The Halal Travel Podcast is hosted by colleagues, friends and ‘tea’ buddies Hazirah, Nurul and Raudha. The trio will talk candidly about travel, food, life and everything else in between. Nabeeha Khan and Wardah Khan are sisters with almost 10 kids between them! In their pod cast, they share their experiences about motherhood, relationships, and striving to build happy Muslim families. Take the means that will make them love you; and when they love you, they will love your way. When they love you, they will love Islam. They will know the beauty of Islam because they are experiencing the beauty of Islam. They are benefitting from his mother now, because when she understood about Islam, she changed. She is now respecting them, she is more loving, she is more gentle, she is more giving, she is more understanding… so you are now a reason for them to love Islam. And for you and me this is enough in front of Allah: “Oh Allah, I have done my duty. I took the means. As for guidance, it is up to you Allah, but I did take the means.” Imagine if your child is 15 years old, and you used to beat him and shout at him and force him to go and pray and force him to do this and that…and you used to say bad words about him… and he now hates everything about Islam and you realise that you were one of the reasons for him not to be guided. You repelled him. This is a great pain and a great guilt. The Young and Muslim Podcast, hosted by Jibreel Salaam & Mohamed Hassan will give you the truth on the Young Muslim American experience. These two best friends give their take and personal experiences in a hilarious fashion that is rarely seen on the topic of Islam. Because Prophet Muhammad was spreading the word of God. Because he was changing, for better, the lives of many Arabs and because some Arabs felt that by the teachings of Muhammad their old idols were losing power they disliked Muhammad and planned to kill him. Every time they tried to kill him, they failed. This angered the enemies of Islam even more. So they began to harass him in every way they knew.
