About this deal

Featuring five brightness levels and strobe, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level, with the torch turned on, by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch, or a single press if it is the last used memorised mode. A new generation flashlight usually looke quite similar to its previous model, but that’s definitely not always the case. But the v3 looks relatively close to the v2, except for a few small details like its head. One use that may be overlooked for this light is it performs well for long-distance runs. The clip holds tight and the lightweight makes it easy to carry along. Since it’s getting dark before I get home from work, I appreciate being able to bring this light along when running in the dark. Performance

Simply connect the magnet to the base of the torch and plug the USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The light on the cable will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete. if you want to use the Warrior 3 with a gun, you can get the optional remote pressure switch that attaches to the rear end. This isn’t an overly complicated flashlight. The tail button works for tactical activation of TURBO mode, and the brightness level indicators on this flashlight will always tell you which mode of brightness you are using the flashlight on. Build Quality The Olight Warrior Mini 3 seems to be a worthy successor to the popular Warrior Mini line of flashlights. Output is higher, throw is farther, size is smaller – what else would you want? Well, they’ve also improved the tail switch, and I’d say the side e-switch is improved, too. It’s a great little light! Long Review The Big Table Olight Warrior Mini 3 (Forest Green) Flashlight

All of my readings were taken from a fully-charged Olight ORB-217C50. Measurements were taken manually at the start, and 30 seconds. The 10-minute measurement is taken from the runtime graph. Mode The 21700 battery included is an Olight ORB-217C50, Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh and arrived with 3.7Volts. This has a lot more capacity than a regular 18650 battery, but it’s only slightly larger. Keep in mind that you can still use these batteries in normal flashlights, as long as it doesn’t touch the negative metal ring around the positive terminal!

Apart from that, the medium mode hits the perfect middle ground when it comes to brightness and runtime, 200 lumens for 13 hours, that amount of light and runtime also make this a worthy everyday carry light.

The runtime test was done with the 50cm integrating sphere, including the Kenko Pro1D ND-16 filter and Extech SDL400 data logging Lux Meter. In mode configuration 1 (default) you also have the ability to use the light momentarily by holding the switch depressed for more than a second. Modes: The measurements were taken manually at turn on and 30 seconds. The 10 minute numbers are taken from the runtime graph. Keep in mind that High and Turbo aren’t exactly measured at turn on, but after about 2 seconds. This is because of the way the proximity sensor works. Mode

Professional users will like the fact that this flashlight is rechargeable. It most certainly saves you the hassle of changing batteries all the time. Olight includes an MCC3magnetic charging cable, and it doesn’t accept any older MCC cables. They use a proprietary charging system to guarantee the best possible performance and safety. Charging with the cable takes about 3 hours, and although a green light indicates the end of charging, the battery is not 100% full yet. When the light turns green, the battery is about 95% charged and continues charging till it reaches full capacity. At the rear is a 2-stage tail switch that, depending on the setting, has 2 different usages. A half-press works differently from a long half-press. When you hold the switch half-pressed for a few seconds, the light will turn off once you release it. This is a momentary mode. While the Warrior mini 2 reduced the output at anytime during use, and shuts off after 60 seconds, the Mini 3 does not do that. It will continue running in Medium mode, so you will still get warm pants. I’m not sure whether this was a good move?Dimensions and Weight: The flashlight is about 6 ounces in weight and 5.5 inches long. The weight is well distributed, making it easy to switch between hands. Olight is a well know flashlight manufacturer with lots and lots of different kinds of flashlights in their arsenal. Please note: *The turbo setting will drop down twice as shown above to prevent the LED from overheating The moon mode is the lowest mode with 1 lumen of brightness. However, what is impressive is that moon mode will work for 55 DAYS on a single charge. Medium mode is very stable output of about 210-215 lumens for 12hour and 51minutes, when the light turns off.
